“I’ve been strength training for 20+ years and have been using Ben’s programs since they first came out. Having a background in sports and strength training, I’ve really appreciated Ben’s approach, and the programs have made me stronger and have fewer fluctuations in my physique. What I appreciate about the programs is the structure, variability of workouts, and cues offered in the video tutorials. The structure is flexible to fit your life and recognize that the work done in the gym should support your non-gym activities – sports and life. I have recommended these programs to multiple people with different fitness goals because Ben’s approach is flexible enough to work with anyone’s lifestyle.
Through the first three programs, I’ve been able to grow with Ben’s exercises and see the cumulative effect of the work. The movements are familiar, while also having enough variability to keep challenging you (and keep you from getting bored) in your workout – I’m looking at you rotational split squats.
Having worked with a personal trainer before, I will say I was hesitant about an exclusively online program. But the coaching Ben provides through the tutorials is really spot on and tells you what to look for and how it should feel, allowing you to make corrections.
TLDR: Ben’s programs work because they’re straight forward, yet challenging.”
“I have been going through these workouts for around 1.5 years now, and I love them just as much now as when I first started.
I am a certified exercise physiologist and registered dietitian, and I have worked in the fitness/health fields for nearly 20 years working with all types of people (from pro athletes to geriatrics to young children). For much of my career, I have developed workout plans for clients/patients, and I got to a point that I just got tired of creating workout plans for myself.
It is SOOOOO nice to not have to think about what I will do in my next workout. Following your workouts are fun, challenging, and best of all for me, takes away from the mental strain of coming up with my own workouts. It’s amazing to just go out to my garage gym, open your app, and do a workout without having to take the time to plan out the workout.
I think some professionals in the fitness/health/wellness industries are too prideful to follow a workout created by someone else. However, I highly recommend it. Not only do these workouts allow me to not have to think about my own workouts, but it has also taught me so much great stuff that I can use with my clients/patients.
Thanks so much!”
“I’ve been doing Ben’s programs since the inception in January 2023. I’ve gone through the first 3 several times because they truly flow so well from one into the next, and each one has different workouts that I love. The latest is another fanatic progression from the last and I look forward to cycling through it as well.
I love the way the workouts are structured, and I love that it’s full body 3 times a week which leaves me ample time for recovery and running. The workouts compliment my strength goals and the integration of core work into each one has massively improved my running and stability. You can tell how much research and passion has gone into his training approach.
I will continue to buy any programs Ben puts out because I’ve seen consistent results from the programs over the years and genuinely look forward to my workouts. “
“My best friend and I are currently going through all three programs for the second time and we absolutely love them! This time around, I’m pregnant, and I’m thrilled that I can still do the workouts. I may need to modify the supine exercises in the third trimester, but it’s been so empowering to stay consistent with the programming during pregnancy.
As a physical therapist who also creates strength and conditioning programs for my own clients, I sometimes don’t have the energy to write workouts for myself. Having this app has been a total game changer. I just open it and get started without overthinking it.
In terms of aesthetics, we’ve both noticed more ab definition, leaner inner thighs, and improved shoulder tone. Most importantly, we feel significantly stronger but not overly fatigued after each session, which is such a great balance.
I also purchased your fourth program and can’t wait to dive in. Thank you so much for creating something so effective and accessible.”
“Ben is the only personal trainer I follow on Instagram for a start. Simply, he’s not like the cookie cutter fitness influencers, or a gym bro. I like Ben’s attitude towards exercise, and the fitness industry.
As soon as I saw he was launching his first program, I wanted it immediately. Each time a new program is released I’ve purchased it, and never been disappointed. I’ve done the first 3 multiple times, and the 4th I’m doing right now.
I’ve been strength training for a long time. Ben’s full body workouts are efficient, effective and they are creative. There’s nothing boring about them… and I’ve done a lot of really dull body split programs, and workouts in my life. Far too many for my liking!
Physically they’ve kept me lean, and strong. I’ve loved doing full body workouts again, just 3 times per week, and with the app for accountability.
Mentally it’s been a game changer, it’s refreshed my love for working out. I don’t think before my training session: “just get it done”, anymore. I enjoy Ben’s creativity, and his sense of humour in the program videos! I look forward to Ben bringing out more programs to keep me strong, and keep away gym boredom, for life.”
“My name is Michelle Densmore. I’m a 43 year old mom of 2 kids, ages 5 & 8. My spouse and I run a small business (fitness company), and I am also a competitive runner and duathlete.
Ive done all 4 programs multiple times and they have been so much FUN to do. They’ve made me stronger than ever- and I’ve been lifting a long time. Not only have I finally gotten sculpted shoulders (something that always eluded me!), I also have become a faster and more efficient runner and cyclist. I even qualified to represent Team USA at the World Triathlon Multisport Championships.
What I love best is that the programs are simple to follow, it’s easy to log my progress, and they build upon the program before…. The progressive overload delivers fantastic results.
Thanks so much for putting out such quality stuff. Really appreciate it! “
“I’m a die hard Ben Bruno fan. His programs have completely changed my mindset on how to stay in shape and have transformed my workouts and my body.
I’m a 43 year old mom of two who had been killing myself in the gym with cardio and lacked the focus and any sort of plan that would create any sort of change in my body.
I started with the first plan and was hooked. It’s simple and straightforward exercises made it easy for me to complete the workouts at home, or at the gym. It removed all the intimidation of adding strength training to my routine and the videos explain everything perfectly.
It’s incredible to see the amount of strength I’ve gained since starting these programs. Now on the grand slam series, I’m lifting heavier than ever before and I have gained so much lean muscle that I feel confident wearing a bikini (which has never been the case, even in my 20s)!
I love these programs, Ben is a genius and I hope he never stops making them! “
“I’ve worked my way through all 4 programs – 3 sessions a week for 7 months. I never miss a workout. Yes, my arms are toned, my back and tush are tight. Yes, my quads are mighty! And, it’s true that I can squat lower and with heavier weights than ever before. However, while I look like a muscular bad ass middle aged woman with more grey hair than not, I also look healthier, and happier, and more confident at 55 years old. I walk taller (which is saying something on this 5’1” frame) and I can carry heavy shit right beside women half my age. I’ve become an inspiration for other women both my age and younger. They marvel at my dedication to working out. I marvel at how good I feel both inside and out. Before and after pictures don’t show the inner satisfaction of accomplishing personal physical goals. I’m preparing my body for the years ahead. One day, I’m going to run around and lift up my grandchildren. Until that day, I’ll keep lifting heavy shit, and smiling at my good fortune that my body can do it.
Thanks to you, Ben!”
“I have been weight training for 15 years, but hit a plateau & was always getting injured. I had been following Ben on Instagram for a while, so was thrilled to buy the Starter Pack. Not only did I find the program challenging, but my body changed over the next six weeks. My core became much stronger, my arms and legs looked more toned, and I enjoyed the workouts! Ben’s videos explain each move clearly and my home gym is all I need to do the program. I have asked him a few questions along the way & he always answers so quickly! I loved the program so much that every time I finished a program, I bought the next one! I have all four women’s programs, from the Starter Pack to the Grand Slam, and I can say that they are all awesome and include different moves to keep you engaged. Get the four-pack! I hope Ben makes more of these!”

“I’ve now bought and completed three of Ben’s online programs, and I honestly can’t overstate how transformative they’ve been, not just for my body, but for my strength, confidence, and even how I train others.
As a personal trainer myself working 9–13 hours a day in London, I’ve seen a lot of programs. But Ben’s are different. I started with his first program and repeated it twice because the results were so immediate and noticeable. Then I moved on to his second, which pushed me even further. I went back, did both again, and now I’m on his third, and I can genuinely say this is the most effective and sustainable training I’ve ever done.
Despite keeping my nutrition the same (I know it’s “80% nutrition,” but…), my body has visibly changed: my shoulders are broader, my waist is leaner, my back is more muscular, and above all, my strength has gone through the roof. But perhaps the most powerful shift has been how I feel. I used to suffer from chronic lower back pain, which was becoming part of my identity in a way. Ben’s programming, with its intelligent functional design and core integration, has eliminated that pain entirely. It’s not just about building muscle; it’s about building resilience.
These programs have helped me reconnect with my body in a way that feels athletic, masculine, and capable, not just for now, but for longevity. I feel stronger, healthier, and more aligned than ever.
Ben’s work has also influenced my own coaching. I’ve quietly used elements of his programming with my own clients, and the results have been undeniable. I even bought his female-specific plan, and my clients are loving it. It’s not just well-structured; it’s effective, intelligent, and adaptable.
So, thank you Ben. Your programs have not only transformed my body, they’ve impacted my work, my clients, and my mindset. That’s the mark of a truly great coach.”

“Started Ben’s programs a year ago to supplement CrossFit 3x a week and now only do Ben Bruno workouts. Ben’s workouts showed me that I don’t need to kill myself in the gym to get the body I wanted. It is sustainable programming that lets you achieve desired results in a safe and healthy way.
The app is super easy to use to track progress, schedule workouts, and has a calendar to help you stay accountable.
I have been working out for 20 yrs and do so most every day. But I love having an awesome trainer to tell me what to do and Ben’s programs do just that.”
“Kind hello from the UK, and answering the call to arms (of sorts!). I’d like to remain anonymous, but having done all four programs (though still finishing Grand Slam) and some programs multiple times over, feel compelled to try and encourage others to try (and then get drawn in hooked on) your programs, because they have given me something I didn’t know I needed.
Could not agree more with the sentiment that training goes beyond outward appearance and isn’t about quick fixes—can we collectively bang that drum just a little louder, because yep! Grateful for the advocacy of a different approach and mindset, and that’s what drew me to your original program. Needless to say it was the results (but importantly not the aesthetic ones) that made me stay and continue to use them.
I’ve always exercised and always enjoyed it, but until using your programs I don’t think I ever truly felt capable. Some moves, or weights, always felt out of reach, or I’d be hesitant to even try them—the niggling voice saying ‘nah, you can’t do that’. So having weathered a lot of grief and loss in recent years—with loss of both my own beloved parents as well as wonderful parents-in-law—and in turn felt a loss of self, and identity, because of caring for others for many years, I came to your programs feeling a bit ‘done’. Essentially looking for something straightforward but strength and mobility based to try and help preserve any semblance of strength—and at the same time also help protect my bones—in the years both leading up to and following menopause, mainly having seen the devastating effects of osteoporosis and how frail it rendered my darling Mum in her later years.
Some exercises—and here half kneeling lateral raises, among others, can take a bow—are straight out of satan’s own personal gym sessions, but that makes it all the more fulfilling when you finally succeed in ‘getting’ it. The sense of achievement in successfully (or even semi-successfully) executing something that seemed beyond you is, well, indescribable. And that’s where feeling capable comes in.
Will be honest, sometimes the first attempt (hello, Copenhagens… ) left me either crying (fail!) or laughing (at my sheer lack of ability), but with patience, perseverance and a few (read: a lot!) more attempts eventually something clicks. Well that or those elusive ‘where have you been all these years’ muscles finally fire up.
And then arrives the unexpected—subtle physical signs that those previously untapped or untested muscles are now tapped (and definitely tested), and the weights that seemed out of reach become more doable or even, dare I say it, doable. And that then spurs you on to see whether there’s a bit more in there, a new and to-be-tested weight, and muscle. And with ‘you’re capable of more than you think you are’ ringing in the ears (here’s to that, by the way), suddenly a 24lb rear foot elevated split squat happens. And yes, that’s likely not much to some, but it is monumental to me. Actually, that’s probably one of the best things about the programs and your message, namely that we are all individuals and there can never—and should never—be a one size fits all approach to what weight is ‘right’ (the one that can, and will, test you). Though secretly I do let out the odd ‘woot!’ if I hit a weight that someone with true athletic ability (vs. my zero athletic ability) also uses on your Insta (ha!).
The mindset shift—and all that comes with it—has honestly been immense. At 48 years old I feel capable, strong, and it’s brought a sense of self peace and self worth with it. Even if not aiming for any aesthetic changes they’ve happened by stealth, a welcome—again even if not sought—side effect of challenging yourself in a gentle but effective and meaningful way.
If the quote about having two lives and the second one starting when you realise you only have one is to be believed, then can’t help but feel I’ve found my second (exercise) life thanks to your programs. And I’m here for it.
That was way longer than intended, but in short offering gratitude in abundance Ben for these seriously sound, no-nonsense, safe and effective programs that can make a woman in mid-life feel capable and comfortable in her own skin for the first time in a very long time. If anyone is in doubt I’d say just give it a go. And yep you’re right that as women we are invariably capable of far, far more than we might imagine we are. Here’s (and ‘hear, hear!’) to that.
Truly, biggest thank you from this very ordinary, very middle aged—but now very capable—British woman.”

“Ben, love your programs and plug and play with my training clients as well. It has been a game changer for me and basically rinse and repeat, deload and do it again and maybe plug and play a few exercises here and there, just to mix things up a bit.
As a trainer with over 20 years of experience in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, I’ve always been deeply invested in health and fitness, both for myself and the people I work with. That’s why I’ve been so impressed and honestly, so grateful for the incredible impact Ben Bruno’s personal training programs have had on my body and overall well being.
Since starting his programs, I’ve noticed a significant change in how balanced my body feels. Years of training and working out had left me with recurring aches, muscle imbalances and stiffness that I thought were just part of getting older. But Ben’s approach has been a game changer. The strategic focus on proper form, smart progressions, and balance throughout the body has helped alleviate those lingering discomforts. It has also really challenged me finding muscle imbalances I never knew I had. For the first time in years, I’m not just exercising, I’m moving, recovering, and truly feeling better.
Ben’s programs have also been invaluable as I’ve navigated the unique challenges of peri-menopause / menopause. Menopause isn’t just a physical transition; it’s deeply complex and can affect everything from energy and recovery to emotional well being. His training approach helped me adapt to these changes in a way that feels empowering rather than limiting. The workouts are challenging but never overwhelming, which has allowed me to sustain consistent progress without feeling completely drained. It’s been amazing to find that, week by week, I can recover fully between sessions while feeling strong, hitting PR’s and capable.
I feel empowered in my training, and even after 20 years in the fitness industry, I’m learning and growing in ways I didn’t think were possible.
Ben’s commitment to long term changes and meaningful results resonates with me deeply. It’s not about before and after photos; it’s about how you carry yourself, how you feel, and how you benefit from sustainable fitness. His thoughtful, intelligent approach has made working out enjoyable again, and that joy spills over into every part of my life. I’m so glad to be part of this process and can’t recommend his programs enough to anyone looking for something truly effective, balanced, and life changing. “

“I am a 44 year old woman in Australia and I have been doing programs 1, 2 and 3 for about 9 months now. As someone who has exercised for 20 years but was finding the bodily changes of perimenopause hard, the programs have provided me with the first weights-based workouts that I have ever enjoyed. The app helps me track what I am doing and I lost weight for the first time in years once I committed to the program. I love that it is a pay once and you’ve got it forever system. The videos are great for helping me with technique. I also love that I can substitute exercises if I have an injury or if a particular exercise just does not float my boat. I recommend the program to anyone who asks what I’m doing.”
Emma
“I have truly loved your programs. I’ve ebbed and flowed with my consistency because life but I love that I always have a routine to get back into whether that’s 2 or 3 times a week. Recently, 2 has been my non-negotiable and if I can do 3 days then that’s great.
A few of the feats since starting it in 2023 —
- When I first started going to the gym I would do my workouts in this workout studio off to the side because I was intimated by the big weight room and gym bros. Now I have joined them confidently in the big scary weight room!
- Last year I went to Mexico with a bunch of friends, kind of a college reunion, and it’s the most comfortable in my body and bathing suit I’ve felt. Even though I’ve always been somewhat lean, I felt more confident and strong in my body.
- I love the consistency of the workouts so that I can walk into the gym and do them without having to be on my phone all the time once I get the hang of things. AND have really enjoyed tracking the weight and seeing progress.
- I’m getting married next year and I love that I’m not stressed about making drastic changes to my routine to get ready and feel good for the wedding. Just being able to stay consistent with your programs and know that I’ll feel great is the BEST feeling — and such a relief because brides are out here doing some crazy shit. Still trying to convince my fiance to try your programs..he was a swimmer in college and he sticks to the routine he’s been doing in the gym for years but I really think he’d like trying a new routine and getting to track progress to make it more interesting/motivating. Will continue the subtle hints until he caves (:
Anyways – thank you for putting out the online programs! They’ve been so so helpful for me in getting started with weights in the gym and having a workout routine that is effective and I look forward to. “
“After living in a big city my whole life, accessing all the workout spaces, trainers, healthy lifestyle thingies, feeling the pressure of seeing tons of fit people regularly, I was super nervous when we moved to rural France last summer. How would I stay active in a tiny town where you can’t throw a stone without hitting a croissant, a glass of wine and a wheel of cheese? I know, I know, boo-freaking-hoo. It’s a good life! But on the flip side, I love a split squat (sorta true), single leg deadlift (pretty true) and a band-assisted pull-up on my way to a perfect wide grip pull-up (totally true). Basically, I need to workout to feel good. Looking good-ish is a cool side effect. I knew that I needed some kind of system to keep my workouts consistent.
I know enough about weights and exercising that I can follow simple directives without much explanation, but I found no program online that really progressed as I moved through the weeks. So the motivation to keep going wavered quickly. Don’t get me started on the influencer workouts that I’d saved thinking there would be some continuity and I’d magically be able to cobble together a program with enough videos. Not a chance.
Enter your app! I like that I can log and see the weights from previous workouts so I can challenge myself to grab something a little heavier each time (even if the weights are in kgs here and mentally I want them to be bigger numbers in lbs haha). I like that the structure is straightforward and the videos are clear so that I know what to expect and I can move through the workouts seamlessly. There are tons of exercise swaps too, if I’m feeling like using, say, cables instead of free weights. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure with adequate guardrails to not get completely distracted and go rogue. Also, I can keep playing my 90s playlists in the background, that I really shouldn’t admit listening to anymore, but damn if they don’t keep me going (and hello is there really anything better than 90s hits?! Don’t answer that.).
All this to say, I’m really happy with your app. Thank you! Bring on program 4! “
Sara
“After purchasing and performing all 3 of your programs (2/3 I’ve bought for my husband as well) it’s safe to say I’m a fan! I’m a tough critic too. I’m a lifelong athlete, former collegiate athlete, certified yoga instructor, kettlebell sport athlete, etc. I’ve been frustrated with many trainers, programs, etc for their lack of comprehensiveness in a program. I’ve really enjoyed and recognized the thoughtfulness in each of your programs. You’ve taken effort and care in targeting multiple muscle groups, core, the brain, etc. and then progressed it, as a proper program should.
Fitness has always been a lifestyle for me and core piece of my identity. The plot twist I wasn’t prepared for: motherhood! I graduated from my 200HR RYT certification at 8 months pregnant with my first baby girl. Heading into parenthood, I was training kettlebell sport twice a week and training to become a certified yoga teacher, cycling, etc. I was incredibly active throughout my first pregnancy.
My world was flipped on its head in the best possible way with the birth of our first daughter, but I didn’t realize I had to actively prioritize and rework my time in the day to carve out fitness time.
Your programs have been one of many tools I’ve utilized to reintroduce fitness as a cornerstone of my life. After years of attempting to reestablish a consistent fitness routine, it’s taken many failures but I’ve been able to with the help of your programs. I’m truly grateful for the efficiency and effectiveness your app/programs have provided.
-The equipment needed is incredible accessible
-modifications are offered when equipment isn’t available
-The program is thoughtful to target full body work effectively and efficiently. New moms need this. Parents need this.
-The workouts are fun and intellectually challenging too.
-they net about 45 mins if you breeze through (sometimes skip) the warm up (frowned upon I know).
I’m now a mom of two beautiful girls, 3.5 and 1, and I’ve finally found a routine and new way of life that works. I’m able to carve out time in the day for myself and your app has been a huge piece of that puzzle for me. Looking forward to the launch of the latest- as of now, back to the starter pack I go! I enjoy your virtual company 3-4x a week!
Congrats on your success, looking forward to what’s to come.”

“The program has truly helped me improve my strength, consistency, fitness and has helped me lose about 10 lbs since I started about 7 months back!
Some of the key aspects I love about the program:
• Workout Scheduling on the app: Setting workout days on the calendar is genius! It has kept me consistent —something I was never able to do before.
• Core Training: The focus on core has been a game-changer for me, as I had neglected it in the past. I feel so much better while playing sports as well.
• Whole-Body Splits: This approach is hands down the best, and I’m never going back! It allows my body to recover fully between workouts and makes the most sense to me
• Stretching Routine: Starting with a structured stretching routine has improved my mobility significantly. I particularly like the routine on phase 1/2
• Workout Structure: I love the intensity of the workouts, the minimal rest intervals, and the circuit layout. Also, the fact that you’ve given me permission to skip the last round (if needed) helped a lot in my mental approach to every workout session. I have never skipped a circuit but knowing that I could gave me no excuses, and caused me to show up every day!
• Nutrition Component: The simplified breakdown of macronutrients using hand proportions is something that has helped me, and I have been preaching to my friends, and even the patients I treat as a doctor
Thank you for such a well-rounded and effective program! “
“I began following you on IG a couple years ago, your sense of humor and ability to keep it all down to earth and attainable was just what I needed. Before the programs were released, I had sent for your mobility exercises and incorporated those into my morning routine. Since then I have purchased all 3 programs and eagerly look forward to the next one. I have no idea how many times I have completed the programs; just keep restarting or self-scheduling them and do a mix and match hybrid of the stretching. Years of running as my sole form of exercise had caused issues with my mobility, aches/pains, and you name it (whole posterior chain affected as one PT told me). I love having a quality full body workout with movements in multiple planes, unilateral, rotational, and sometimes a nice balance challenge thrown in for good measure! These elements have revealed some asymmetries in my strength, flexibility, and balance I never realized were there; all of these have improved immensely- so important as I get older (63 now). I have noticed an increase in strength, hip/overall mobility, and ability to keep up with the grandkids! However among all the positives of the program there are a couple cons: the need to buy smaller clothes and heavier weights! Next I need to find a playground or somewhere I can work on pull-ups, maybe I will finally be able to do one! 🙂
Thanks again for giving so many people the opportunity to reach our own goals, whatever they may be for each person. I can’t say I always wake up excited to workout but, I can truthfully say I have never regretted a workout, only regret those I missed!”
“Straight up, doing your workouts makes me happy. I decided to do the Sequel Program this past January after a particularly sluggish holiday season when I was feeling physically and mentally drained. I was looking for something to commit to and get me back into a healthier routine. Honestly, it was just what I needed to get me out of my funk. In the midst of our -30 degree (Celsius) deep freeze it gave me something to look forward to after long work days AND it was so nice to put my home gym to good use again. I was instantly in a better mood after each workout, and had way more energy in the evenings. Here are just SOME of the ways your program has impacted me.
First off, I have realized the importance of warming up as I get older and really appreciate the thought you put into the full body warmup (shoutout to stationary spiderman and the banded walk series!). Doing the warmup consistently I have seen MEGA improvement in my overall mobility and range of motion, and I always feel ready to put in a great workout afterwards. I even do the warmup series on off days when I feel especially sore or stiff after work or on weekends.
With the women’s program, I see the focus you have put on shoulder and back health and strength…THANK YOU FOR THAT. I have struggled with shoulder issues for years, but it’s been the worst over the past two. After completing the Sequel, it was the best my shoulders have felt (you can ask my husband how often I bragged about my improved shoulder mobility and strength lol). My shoulder pain is almost non-existent, I am lifting more weight overhead than ever, I consistently PR my bent over rows, and have seen my best overall upper body strength gains since, I can’t remember when.
My husband repeatedly comments on how much fun I seem to be having, how hard he sees me working, and has even borrowed a few of your exercises to add into his own workout rotation (hollow body tricep extension, I’m looking at you ). I want to thank you for tailoring your program to be home gym friendly, it reminds me that you don’t need a lot of space or equipment to work hard and see results. As far as results post Program, while I actually gained 5lbs from when I started the Sequel to when I finished, I know I have gotten so much stronger and am still learning not to focus so much on a number on the scale but on how I feel and to love my body for what it can do.
While I see my strength gains, what is harder to measure is the positive impact your Program has had on my mental health. The workouts are fun AND challenging, I like that I don’t need to commit 2-3 hours to a workout so I never dread strength days (like I have in the past). My own strength training competency has improved by doing your programs and I now try and come up with some of my own training sessions using things I’ve learned from you. I love that you care about connecting with your community and send us emails to let us know what’s going on in your world.”

“I’m a collegiate strength and conditioning coach who has been unemployed for little bit and because of the struggle I’ve had trying to find a job, I’ve kind of fell out of love with the weight room. I have missed training teams and also training alongside colleges for almost a year now. Your programs, more specifically the Sequel and the Trilogy, have played a huge role in aiding my motivation for training solo currently in my garage gym. I love how you structure your programs and I love how every day is a total body day. Truthfully, they have really helped me get back into my own training routine and help me keep myself accountable. Again, as a strength coach I’ve also found a handful of new movements that I’ve never done and will definitely be using more of in the future for myself and athletes I will coach in my next role.
Thank you for putting your expertise to such great use with these programs and making them so user friendly. I’ve truly enjoyed working through your programs and I’m so excited for the 4th one to be released!!”

“I just want to send a HUGE thank you for creating these programs. I am a mom of 2 young kids and after my second pregnancy I found myself in a body I did not recognize with a deteriorating mental state.
My husband and I purchased your first program at the end of 2024 and we became hooked. When I started your first program I could not get through a full workout, but your weekly emails and fitness for dummies approach kept me going.
I am finishing up the sequel this week and cannot wait to begin the trilogy. I am loosing weight, gaining muscle and feel stronger than I did in my 20’s. You have given me my life back and I cannot thank you enough.
I also love that these programs can be done at home with minimal equipment. Not only can we easily fit these workouts into our hectic lives but it allows us to model to our children the importance of daily movement and strength training. Our children watch my husband and I complete the workouts and try to join in. Giving my children the gift of health is priceless!
You have changed our lives! We are so looking forward to the fourth program!!”

“I started programs back at the beginning of December 2024. Before doing so I was attending group functional strength training for about a year and a half at a local small gym. The classes were always different and while fun I was craving more structure in my workouts and repetition to get better at certain exercises.
I was honestly scared to go to a regular gym. Seeing all the people and equipment freaked me out a little but having a plan made things really easy and I quickly realized it was going to be fine.
I liked how easy the videos were to comprehend, and how you offer suggestions encase the exercise was too hard or if you didn’t have the equipment handy. The only exercise I was unable to do are the body weight tricep extensions. Those are no joke!!
Anyways overall I thought the programs were/are great and I’m looking forward to finishing the trilogy. I just finished my first half marathon this past weekend and although I was sore afterwards I don’t have any lasting pain which I’m attributing to regular strength training keeping my body strong.
Also, I’m a massage therapist and feel that the programs have greatly enhanced my daily stamina and I feel way better sticking to the weekly routine.
Thanks for putting this all together! “
“I’m a 43 year old mom of 2 kids (5 and 8 years old) and a fitness business owner. I’m also a competitive runner and triathlete.
I’ve done programs 1-3 multiple times and I love them.
I’m stronger than ever. Running and cycling like a beast. And best of all, the program is effort and doesn’t take up a ton of time. between my busy work schedule and running my kids all over the place, I don’t have a lot of time for workouts so I love that I can get an ass-kicking lift done in 40ish mins.
10 out of 10!!!!”
“I have spent so much money on personal trainers and small group weight training, but your 6-week starter pack has been exactly what I needed to support a consistent workout practice that fits into my busy schedule.
The videos help me learn the exercises properly, and I’m able to fit the workouts in when it works for me, instead of needing to to commute to and from a gym.
I’m on my second time through, and can’t wait to buy the sequel next. I’m getting married in the fall, and am confident I’ll feel my best walking down the aisle thanks to Ben and his program.”

“Thank you for creating these programs. I’ve completed 1 and 2 over the past eight months and I am stronger than I’ve been in years.
I recently turned 57 and spent a lot of last year rebuilding strength lost due to hyperthyroidism and reflux issues. Your programs allowed me to focus on strength instead of aesthetics and help me change my mindset to focus on strength as well.
I also like the fact that it’s not ‘life encompassing’ and leaves room for other things I like to do such as Pilates, kickboxing, yoga, and kettlebell workouts, which I do incorporate into your program.
Overall, I feel better, I am stronger, and my well-being is better.
Thanks again for creating these programs, and I look forward to purchasing 3, and now 4, in the very near future.”

“I’m 45, and last June, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis and osteopenia. I started training with your programs in October, and for the first time in years, I’ve been able to stick to a routine. It’s completely changed my mindset about weightlifting.
I have a DEXA scan coming up in a few months, and I’m hopeful to see progress in my bone density. In the meantime, I’ve been getting stronger, feeling more empowered, and going to the gym with more confidence.
In December, I gifted my husband your programs, and he just started last week after recovering from an injury. I’m excited for him to experience the same benefits I have.
Can’t wait for Program 4—thanks, Ben!”
“I did the starter program many times, and I’m still using it! The big difference between when I started and now, is how strong I became! I started with 5lb and now depending on the exercise I can do 15lb to 30lb and many more reps! I feel stronger! I had a bad surprise last October when I was diagnosed with very early stage breast cancer (DCIS ductal carcinoma in situ), I had surgery (a lumpectomy) in November and did 20 cycles of radiotherapy between December and January. Dr and friends that went through it before told me that exercise would help with the side effects of the therapy and I can proudly say that I kept going with your program even during that time! You are funny and you are a good trainer! Thank you for sharing your program via these apps! I hope you will be able to organize a big, live workout that one could attend also remotely so we can all experience the Ben Bruno live!
Thank you Ben!”

“Your workout programs have gotten me out of a depression. I’ve been recovering from 2 hip surgeries (1 hip scope in 2021 and a PAO and hip reconstruction in 2024). While my recovery from the PAO is about 1-2 years I’ve finally been able to get back to doing the type of workouts I love (yours!). It’s allowed me to move my body again and start tracking my progress. The exercises are simple yet effective. I do your workout 3 times a week followed by Pilates twice a week and I can already feel an improvement in my core and hip flexors from both programs! I can’t wait to finish all 3 programs and do them over again to continue to see progress!”
” It’s been quite the three months of 2025. January was a rough start, and while I was ready and fired up, the LA fires hit, and while I do not live there, it has been a second home for me for as long as I can remember, and I have lots of friends who do currently live there. Even on the other side of the country, I felt a great sadness and pain for everyone experiencing such a time as the start of the new year. That coupled with the state of the country.. it was a lot. I went from 100 to 0 real quick and it was harder for me than usual to pick up my routine. Eventually I did, and more rough times came with food poisoning (completely stopped working out for two weeks which was rough), changing times, and just and underwhelming lack of motivation. Even so, I found normalcy and stability in my fitness routine with the new program, and that brought a bit of uplift for me during the rough days. I finally finished the program last week and I am so proud that I got here, and I’m ready to even start it for round two to bring me into the summer! Mentally it has done me well, and physically, it has kept me strong to supplement pilates when I’m not working on the trilogy program. it would be a dream to crush the workouts in person in LA, but in the meantime, I’ll be crushing round 2 of the trilogy program until the next one!
I started your programs in July of 2023 (I think?), as an alternative to Barry’s at the time. I’ve been doing your programs ever since, and have cycled through all three, multiple times (just restarted the third one!) It’s taught immense self discipline, especially on days I don’t want to do it–I remember it’s for long term health, and it’s less than one hour of my day. I’ve always wanted to experience what it’d be like with a personal trainer, and this is probably as close as I can get for now. With the exceptions of the few tech hiccups, they’re all great programs, and I always feel great after a session.
Can’t wait to see what the 4th program holds; me and my teeny abs are ready for it!!”
“Just finished the 13th of the 18 Starter Pack workouts and wanted to provide some feedback. I’m 59, pretty beat up from sports injuries and poor decision making in my earlier years and coming off a left hip replacement in 2020, a right hip replacement in 2022 and a right ankle replacement this past August. My lower body was weak and tight, especially on the right side because of all the arthritis I had in my ankle. Basically, I used your program as physical therapy and to start rebuilding a decent baseline level of strength and mobility over my entire body but particularly my lower body.
The program has exceeded my expectations. The first series of 3 workouts was a bitch, even the warmup and even though I started very light in terms of loading. 13 workouts in, it’s a much different story. To the extent that how I feel in the warmup is a good way to measure baseline mobility and strength, it’s night and day. I can kind of cruise through it now to the point where it’s actually enjoyable and I can find and work on different areas in each exercise to target now that previously tight areas have loosened up. I’m stronger now, but the main thing that I like is that my mobility and form in some of the exercises I really struggled with has gotten a lot better. For example, reverse lunging for me was a shitshow before because my right ankle issues killed stability on both sides. As I’ve worked though the program, my ankle and foot mobility have improved and the added strength in the legs and hips have made that exercise more recognizable as a lunge.
I’ve done a lot of strength training over the years and this is the first full body program I’ve done and I really like it, even though I’m in the garage now 90 minutes versus 45 or so minutes when I was doing splits. Also really like how (a) core work is spread thoughout the program and combined with other exercises, (b) the back isn’t loaded for any exercises, (c) the amount of rowing versus pressing in the workout to protect the shoulders, (d) the safeness of hte exercises – at 59 my main goal is to not get hurt and be able to stack up workouts over a long period without needing to take time off to nurse a tweaked back or whatever, and (d) the focus on unilateral versus just bilateral exercises, especially lower body.
Anyways, great work. I plan to repeat the program after I’m done with this six week run and maybe check out the Sequel at some point in the future but at this point I’m not seeing much need to change because what’s laid out in the Starter Pack is working great.”
“I’m a PE teacher from Germany and have always been into fitness, accompanying my passion for team sports (soccer) and running. However, going to the gym always felt like a chore to me. Hence, I struggled to find a routine and my enthusiasm for weight training came and went in waves, even though I used to work in gyms a fair bit when I was a student at university.
In 2021, I quit my gym membership due to Covid and started doing home workouts largely based on inspiration from Instagram and Crossfit workout-apps. Alas, I never really paid any attention to training programming or warm-up routines which inevitably led to injury. During one of my CrossFit workouts at home, I partially tore a tendon in my shoulder early in 2023. I had surgery in August and started to slowly test my shoulder in October. Despite regular rehab training, progress seemed to stall and I couldn’t even run, as the shoulder didn’t respond well to all the movement and jolts involved. That’s when I decided to go back to the gym to slowly regain power and movement in my shoulder. However, I soon got very frustrated as I seemingly couldn’t do any of the movements I knew anymore (no push-ups, no bench press, no pressing movements at all). Then I stumbled upon your program and got intrigued due to its holistic and humorous approach and your vastly different view on fitness as compared to other fitness influencers. When I also discovered that your program included a lot of shoulder movements, I decided to buy your sequel program and give it a shot.
Roughly one year later and here we go! I’ve never enjoyed working out at the gym so much, I’ve been going regularly 2-3 a week and I’ve never felt as strong and fit as I am now with 37 (yikes) years old. Back in November 2023 I thought I’d never be able to get back to full strength in my shoulder but now I can shoulder press 26kg and even the terrible Copenhagen Side Planks pose a feasible yet disgusting challenge to my workouts. Needless to say, I am incredibly happy with the results and could not commend the programs any more.
I’ve done all three of them, one and two repeatedly. From my experience, I like them all for different reasons: the starter pack is the most challenging in how the workouts are the longest and most demanding. I typically get two workouts a week in and feel like Hulk afterwards (in a good way). The sequel is probably the best and most balanced of the three, especially because you can easily fit three workouts in one week with the third one being slightly shorter and requiring less equipment (can be done at home). The trilogy program offers an amazing new workout routine and largely focuses on balancing exercises, which is very challenging and offers a new approach to known workout routines. So, altogether, all three programs offer different aspects and combining them leads to a full year of workout routines that never get boring. I’m already looking forward to the next program in 2026 or whenever.
Thanks a ton for everything you do! :)”

“It was my first time doing the program in order and across the set timings (with the except of tooth pain hell week!) and it’s been great.
I initially bought the program as a hand-holding exercise in the gym. I box 2-3 times a week and have done for 5 years but i’ve never been a gym goer. I joined one last year and honestly didn’t know the first thing about where to start. I followed you on Instagram and enjoyed the full-body approach to workouts as well as your dislike of burpees and running – SOLD!
It’s probably easier if I bullet point the rest as it’s going to sound like waffle otherwise;
- First visible abs (even though I box I never had them!)
- Daily comments on my ‘guns’ LOL – especially from my husband who thinks it is amazing how much stronger I am than him now.
- The program has 100% upped my boxing – stronger, less injuries and better endurance.
- I chose the men’s instead of the women’s because I was joining a gym and saw that you said women tend to have less access to equipment. I love the men’s program, the equipment used is beyond what I have ever used in the past – love loading up that landmine!
- Worst exercises – overhead prone – wow what a F*cker & rear foot elevated split squat – puke.
- Best exercises – anything landmine – love it!
- Love the non-cheesy videos where you actually explain what each exercise does in a lighthearted way.
- I make a friend and also my husband go through whatever workout i’m up to if they come to the gym with me and they also love it.
I have just bought the sequel and am looking forward to getting stuck in!
Thanks from England!”
“Just wanted to say thank you for this program and report back that your app has helped me drop around 20lbs or so. I’m not going to say it was all down to 6 weeks on your program, I started this journey in earnest in March 2022 or so with a nutritionist and a strength training app called OpenFit that since closed. Even though I started to see results understanding protein, how my snacking tendencies were adding up and strength building blocks, your program is where the real change came in. I’m 38 and my body has never been this lean and toned. I had resigned myself as a curvy girl — just my genes — and now I actually have abs by doing your programs 3-4 times a week, talking 10K steps and drinking water. I don’t starve myself, I’m not killing myself at a HIIT or cross-fit class, I’m not depriving myself of life or hating my body into submission. I’ve just been following your general guidance every day, every week and every month. Additionally, I started your program around the time I lost my job, moved apartments about 4 times in a year and was able to keep it up with a set of Bow Flex weights and a room.
Although, I’ve always been athletic and active, my body didn’t show the work I put in. Now I tell anyone and everyone who will listen that you are the only trainer out there with a structure that actually works. Anyway, I’m sure you get a lot of these but it never hurts to tell someone thank you 🙂 So thank you for sharing the tools that have made me more comfortable in my skin and finally feeling like the work I put in is reflected in how I carry myself and feel about myself. Excited for any other future programs you put out there but in the meantime, gratefully using what you have already provided.”

“I have been an Instagram follower of Ben Bruno for quite some time, a handful of years at least.
I stumbled upon his profile through following the hilarious Chelsea Handler, and thoroughly
enjoy watching his female clients lift heavy weight, and generally just kick ass.
A couple decades ago, I was a Kinesiology student. I grew up participating heavily in
competitive dance and have always had a keen interest in the science of movement. I have also
gone in and out of teaching group fitness over the past 2 decades.
Fast forward 20 years, I am a mother, a wife, a labor and delivery nurse and a nurse educator at
our University smack dab in the middle of Canada on the prairies. And that is how I have
defined myself for a long time, a mom, a wife, a nurse. I have 3 children, age 6, 4 and 1. I had
fallen into the pit of motherhood, the one where you make up 1 million excuses to neglect
yourself because other people need you. I have been stuck in the contemplation phase for too
long, with some action here or there, only to fall off the wagon a week into some exercise
routine.
I have “added to cart” the Bruno Strong program wayyyyyyyy too many times. “Ohh its too
expensive, oh its in American dollars.” However, when Ben posted about a 6-week challenge,
something in my mind turned on, I bought the program with no hesitation, and I started on April
24th.
The first workout was ROUGH. I was so mad at myself. How could I let myself get so
unconditioned. Unweighted lunges, and not even being able to get my back knee to the ground.
Deficit squats with a 10 lb dumbbell. What the heck!!!!!! The next few workouts were done out
of anger at myself, but then, after about 1.5 weeks in, the neuromuscular changes were evident
and my motivation shifted from anger and disappointment to pride and excitement. I am getting
stronger! I can do this! I can be as strong, if not stronger, than I was before!
I am 2 workouts shy as I write this from completing the full 6 weeks. I have lost a couple
pounds, and my clothes fit much better, but that’s not the most important change I have
experienced since April 24, 2024.
I have found space for myself. I have cut the excuses and just got down to work. I have
prioritized myself for the first time in a long time. My kids see me working out, and they say
“wow Mom, I can’t believe you can lift those weights’. They have even joined me a few times.
There are some evenings that I sneak downstairs after the kids are in bed and I do my workout,
leaving a sink FULL of dishes *GASP*. No one in my home has commented on the dirty dishes
in the morning, but everyone in my home (minus the baby) has told me that they are proud of
me. And best of all, for the first time in a long time, I am proud of myself. Thank you Ben, for
creating an approachable program that is fun, time efficient and works! I look forward to the
Sequel.”
“For this summer challenge, I purchased and completed The Sequel for the first time. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve done the first program which I love, but I really enjoyed the Sequel.
I feel like the Sequel and this challenge had more compound movements with my favorite being the Friday Full Body Complex.
I really feel like this challenge pushed me to complete each workout to the best of my ability and to increase weights to challenge my body and strength. I noticed that my legs, arms and back are significantly stronger. Also, I could really feel my core engaging in all of the stability work.
I really appreciate the Bruno Strong program and I’ve done other several. This is the one I’ve stuck with the longest because of the ease of using the app, the clarity of the workouts (with videos) and also the compound exercises and efficiency in the workouts.
I’m back to the first program again for six week and really looking forward to another round of The Sequel after this! “
“I was a figure skater growing up, and a varsity rower in university. I’ve realized I have a lot of muscle imbalances from these sports, that likely contributed to my terrible pelvic pain during my first pregnancy a little over a year ago. I’ve seen chiropractors and physios, but nothing has really provided long term relief until I started doing your program. The full body workouts and focus on unilateral work dramatically improved these underlying imbalances, and I feel so much stronger and more aware of my body. We’re going to start trying for a second baby soon, and I feel strong and ready! The program is also so well designed, I love the predictable structure of each work out and the fact that you can repeat it as many times as you want! “
“I wanted to say how much I enjoyed this program. I have never gone through a program where I enjoyed every single exercise and didn’t get bored. This has been the most comprehensive and balanced workout routines that I’ve ever seen. I’m a pelvic floor physical therapist, and I ended up using most of these exercises (with some modifications) with my clients. Not only do they love the exercises, they are meeting their goals quicker and getting back to being able to pick up their kiddos/weights/dogs/etc faster. So, thank you Ben for all the time and effort you put into your expertise and into this program.”
“I finished the 6 week New Years Challenge (in about 6.5 weeks). I grew up an athlete and working out was a part of my everyday routine. Life has been busy for me the past few years and I stopped making working out a priority. I was out of shape, tired, and I had overall, low confidence.
Coming into 2024 I made a goal for myself to making working out a priority. I fished the 6 week challenge and I can honestly say I feel better about myself physically and mentally. I feel stronger than I have felt in years, I have more energy, and I just feel better in my own skin. I can see muscles start growing that I haven’t seen in years.
I love how Ben’s app is set up. I can get my workout in and I can truly say I enjoyed the workouts.”
“I originally signed up for your program last spring and stuck with it for a few weeks but then summer trips and chaos ensued. Fast forward to late summer/fall and I started feeling really sick. I was having random joint swelling, an upset stomach, rashes, fevers, the shakes, and a host of other random symptoms. I went to multiple doctors and went through a TON of testing with no answers for months. It was super scary and I honestly thought I was going to die some days – I felt completely hopeless. I could barely eat and I ended up losing over 35 lbs. I finally saw a GI doctor who ended up being my saving grace. They got me in for an emergency colonoscopy and endoscopy, and by the time I woke up from my procedure I was told I was getting admitted to the hospital because my body had formed a fistula (your intestines just randomly create a new track, crazy!) and that my fistula was infected & I was starting to go septic. I was also told that I had Crohn’s disease. I spent 5-6 days in the hospital on an insane dose of steroids & antibiotics. It was awful being hooked up to an IV pole 24/7 and being confined to a hospital bed/room. I now have a deep compassion for anyone who spends an extended time in the hospital. I went from being a perfectly healthy & generally athletic 35 year old to a shell of myself. I spent most of December slowly healing and slowly putting weight back on. I was happy to just be alive – going for a short walk outdoors felt like a huge victory for me.
When I saw the January 8th start date for your challenge, I thought this will be the perfect way to gain back some muscle & start feeling like myself again. The fact that it was a whole body workout & could be done from home really helped because I am on a bunch of immunosuppressants at the moment, and going to the gym & being around a bunch of people just isn’t smart for me right now. I knew I had to take it slow, and my spouse was nervous about me working out again, but I wanted to try, and I am so glad I did!
At first I was doing almost exclusively body weight – rarely did I add in dumbbells, but as the program progressed and my healing progressed I was able to add some weights in, and felt myself getting stronger every week. The program gave me a framework to work within and allowed me to scale as I got stronger. I have been an athlete my whole life but have never done a dedicated program. I was really surprised at how much upper body/back work was in the ladies program, but to my surprise, I really enjoyed it! I feel strength in my back that I haven’t ever felt! I still have a long way to go in my healing journey and a lot to figure out with my new diagnosis – I am trying a gluten free diet (following your wife now) and hope to continue to make strides towards Chron’s
remission.
I just wanted to say thanks for making a program that is well thought out, organized, and not exorbitantly expensive. I felt it provided a great value for the price. The videos were super helpful for proper form cues, and it was nice to be able
to sub out exercises if I didn’t have a piece of equipment. The app was easy to use and I like that it kept track of my old data so I could see how much I improved from week to week.
Anyways, sort of a winding story, but just wanted to say thanks for creating
a program that was part of my healing journey!”
“I’ve been a long time follower of your work and have implemented a lot of different exercises that I’ve learned from you into my routine. I exercise regularly but you know how it goes sometimes… you get into a rut.
Well last year was a doozy for me, I had to have brain surgery which took me out of the game for some time. I had to rest and recover and put myself back together again. Not working out was really tough and after I was cleared for exercise, I felt lost.
In December I decided to buy your program and kinda started it, but it didn’t go really go anywhere for me because the holidays just got in the way.
When you posted your new year’s challenge, I was game. I felt like I was ready to commit to something full force and start to find myself and see some changes. For 6 weeks my headspace changed and I was putting a lot of effort into the challenge. I am finally seeing some progress and I’m so excited to start the sequel programming. It’s very different from what I had been doing which just made it that much more fun and challenging in the best way.
I’m thankful for you putting out so much good content and thankful to be in for the ride. Like most people, I was looking for physical changes but I found more than that. My surgery was causing hormonal imbalances for me and making it so difficult to find the motivation and energy to exercise and participating in this challenge allowed for me to not make any excuses and just do the thing.
Sometimes you just have to do the thing even when you don’t want to. And now I really want to.
Thanks for putting on this challenge. I am so much better for it. “

“I’m sure a few (or more) have probably told you this, but I’m serious when I say I’ve tried EVERYTHING to change my body shape… By everything, I mean I’ve paid an arm and a leg for workout packages and classes at the following: kayla itsines, burn boot camp, cyclebar, [solidcore], club pilates, basecamp fitness, anytime fitness, soulcycle, barre3, the barre code, and likely many more in the last 10 years of my life since graduating college. I even paid a nutritionist over $700 last year to work with me on tracking macros for six weeks. Now, I have known for a long time that lifting weights would help my body change but I just didn’t want to believe it for some reason. Maybe because I hadn’t found a program that I actually LIKED following… and that has now become clear.
Bruno Strong is the BEST workout program I’ve done or came across bar none. Here’s why:
1. it’s only 3x a week (!!) so I’m not killing myself in the gym every day
2. it’s SO easy to follow — I am a detailed person and the entire user experience is incredible — from the rounds being clear, the VIDEOS, the timer for rests, it’s just seriously fantastic
3. i am a rule follower. this program and app allows me to enter reps and weight, and also feel like i’m “Checking off the boxes” as I go. for someone like me, this is important because i live in my head and if i can’t finish the workout, it would kill me the rest of the day [technical side bar: getting rid of the last “optional” workout part from program 1 has done wonders for my rule follower mind… and just makes it even better]
4. I can do this at home!! I was going to my local little gym to use the weights, but I got some at home and created my own home gym. as an early, typical 5 am riser, this has been a game changer to do at home before i get to work by 8 am! not needing all this weird, bulky equipment has been a game changer.
5. It’s FUN!!! I have never looked forward to a workout more in my life. All the moves, everything.
Lastly, with simply no exception, thanks to your program(s), I feel the best I’ve ever felt in my adult life. I am finally STRONG. But what I hoped came with it was to feel confidence in my body. I’ve always been “small” and “petite” but I’ve never been confident in the way my body actually looks because I didn’t feel good. This program — and eating well 80% of the time, keeping in mind macros — has completely transformed my body and my confidence in it. I’ve actually never really weighed myself because I think that’s silly, but these workouts and the way I feel has solidified that the weight DOES NOT matter. If I feel strong, amazing and confident, I’ve met my goals.
Forever a program client and my sincerest gratitude for spreading your passion to all”
“You’ve changed my life in two ways:
1) You “introduced” me to Jaime Morocco. You were the first fitness expert whose content and approach resonated with me. Being a celebrity trainer in CA, you were not an option. Through your account, I found her. Her education and coaching is why I understand the science behind body transformation. It seems so simple now, but I needed an expert to cut through all the BS out there and teach me. Jaime is amazing. She gave me tools I needed for life.
2) With this program. I’ve never thought your training would be physically or financially accessible to me. Your app made it possible! The past year has been very difficult for my family, and I stopped taking care of myself. I’ve needed to do a cut and get back to the gym, and your challenge was the invitation to shift my priorities back.
I’m actually two weeks behind everyone: Our gym abruptly shut down forever, and we had to find a new one. We all got snowed in at the beginning of January. I was feeling well lately and got thyroid meds. We lost a 16 year old pet. Even when it’s all legitimate and I showed up for myself as much as I could, I still felt like a failure. I questioned if any of it was something I could’ve pushed through if I just tried a little harder. Not even having started yet 1/3 of the way through the challenge made me question if I should even participate still. But I ignored the unhelpful voice in the back of my head and stated anyway. Four weeks is better than zero. I really appreciated you sharing your struggles about your recovery and your home. You said you don’t like including personal stuff with your content, but knowing it happened to the guy who made the challenge, makes weather, health twists, etc feel like sometimes it is just life, not excuses.
You said it’s not meant to be a transformation by any means. But even though my body still looks the same for now, it has been transformative for my habits. I started. I kept going, even when it wasn’t as much as I planned or wanted for the week. I’ve been to the gym more in the past two months than I have in the past two years. I’veo been keeping tighter macros. Ive been walking more and sleeping better. The tone is set for a good year.
I know I won’t be in the running win the $1000, but I wanted to submit this anyway to say thank you. Your program has been so meaningful to me Thank you for stepping outside of your comfort zone to create it for us.
Thank you, Ben! (And team. However many of you Team is there behind the scenes making this happen too.) “

“The day I was supposed to start this workout program was also my first day back to school, specifically winter school which is basically a semester’s worth of material condensed into 6 weeks. This winter, I was taking Physics: Electricity & Magnetism, which is arguably the hardest physics class there is. In the past, I’ve always made excuses during the semester for not doing my workouts because I was so busy with schoolwork and studying, but this year I’m trying to put that excuse aside because there are plenty of students with 4.0 GPAs in STEM who make room for other hobbies and good habits.
I set up a schedule I could realistically follow–Fridays to Sundays, the days I have off from school. I felt it necessary too because I really enjoy eating and without the balance of working out, it can leave you feeling lazy, unproductive, and not looking your best.
As a full-time student who is too lazy to go outside and too cheap for a gym membership, this program is truly the perfect solution. I love how simple it is—the robotic nature of having a professional telling me exactly what to do and how to do it. Three times a week, I open the app, watch the videos, do exactly as the professional says, rinse and repeat, easy peasy. I sometimes feel like the intimidation of the gym environment is what keeps people from going in the first place; this program totally eliminates that fear and allows me to stay in the comfort of my own home.
Also, as a woman, I feel like our physical beauty is one of our most valuable currencies in this society. People certainly treat you better if you are fit, thin, and “pretty.” I have to say this is one of my biggest motivations for working out as well, to maximize my privilege and have strangers continuously treat me well and be nice to me. More opportunities do definitely come when you meet the ideal of “conventionally attractive.” I admit I enjoy looking good in a bikini or a sundress, and all the girly things I enjoy.
Most importantly, the endorphins from the workouts are the drug I keep coming back for. I don’t know the exact science behind it, but the idea of persisting through an hour-long physical challenge day after day gives me a fake confidence I feel you almost need to get through life. Sometimes at school you feel like a dumbass when you don’t understand how to find an expression for the electric potential at point P located on the perpendicular central axis of a uniformly charged ring of radius “a” and total charge Q. Working out gives me the calmness to solve my problems and get stuff done: don’t understand something ? go to the professor and ask for help. Don’t just sit there and hope everything magically falls into place. It fuels my need to keep the streak going: I completed this workout, now you have no excuse not to complete your school responsibilities. Working out somehow makes you believe you can do anything.
I’m so grateful for this program because of its simplicity and the fact that I don’t need to do much more than what is already told in the app. It’s such a daunting task to tackle: how does an everyday person with a job and a busy life try to be fit without hours in the gym ? This is the perfect solution for that.”
“I’ve been meaning to write at different times throughout the program to say thank you! You have changed both my fitness regimen and goals, both for the better. Prior to your program, I had mostly been doing Peloton cycle and strength workouts. I enjoy the instructors and the workouts and I was getting a bit stronger, but I was also getting injured and not getting the results I expected, given the time I was putting in.
Enter your program. I’m 56, overweight, and dealing with injuries, and I still had great results. I feel strong. I can see some muscle definition, which feels great. And I feel encouraged, motivated to keep it going and hopeful!
The long warm-up is a game-changer. I always thought 5 minutes was sufficient. With yours, I feel much more prepared to do the workout, and I’m sure it has helped prevent injuries. Your very thorough tutorial videos were exceedingly helpful. I knew what to do/what not to do, and how it was supposed to feel. I am also grateful for the many substitutions offered as I had to utilize those often. The workouts were hard, but not discouraging. I felt accomplished, not defeated. It’s been wonderful to see some results, especially from a program that feels sustainable.
It is evident you put a lot of time and thought into your programs. I know this is a business for you, but somehow it feels like the money is secondary to your desire to help people. You are authentic and genuine. This made the program feel more personal to me, which was very motivating. Even though we haven’t met, I really feel like you want me to do well.”

“First – thank you for creating this amazing exercise program that’s accessible to so many people everywhere! I genuinely believe in health and fitness, and your strength programs (starting first way back with the one you wrote/published with Kate!) are and have been instrumental to me in maintaining my health and fitness.
For me… Of course at least part of why I entered this is to be able to show my friends that this is the real deal and strength training is where it’s at! 😉
But really, I decided to enter your challenge as a true challenge to myself — a challenge to hold myself accountable to my own strength goals, a challenge to prioritize my strength training no matter how demanding work / life became, and a challenge to push myself not only physically but also mentally. I am a mom of two young girls and there isn’t anything more important to me than setting the best example I can for them, and I believe that begins and ends with mental/physical strength and resiliency. Your program changed me for the better, in both physical and mental strength.
I’ve always been a strong, resilient person. But I knew I could be stronger, better. I used this to prove that to myself.
I am a lawyer working 60+ hours every week, and I MADE the time. For too long, I’ve been inconsistent with my workout routine, making excuses because of how busy I am, the kids this or that, tired, etc.
I decided this time, there would be no excuses. So, it wasn’t always pretty but I got it done. On many occasions it was with my 5 year old and 2 year old alongside me, also “exercising” because they woke up early before I finished or I had to do it in the evening when I got home from the office and they “just wanted to be with mom.” Many times I wanted to just skip and watch a show to decompress from work or get into the office early for a jumpstart on my never ending work. But you and your program held me accountable. I respect what you offer and what you champion in the health and fitness world, and I couldn’t let you or myself down, and ultimately my girls because I know they’re watching and will remember one day.
Within weeks, I could feel my legs were stronger, I had more definition in my arms, and my abs remembered they even existed for the first time in years! This inspired and encouraged me to carry on no matter what. Then I got hit with a nasty case of Covid in January – but guess what? I was so encouraged already by your program that I maintained my workouts anyway. They may have been “lighter” but I did them. I grew stronger all around.
After another couple weeks of your program, I couldn’t wait for every workout because each one left me stronger and more resilient than the last. I pushed myself to increase weight along the way, getting stronger both physically and mentally.
Your program had enough flexibility for me to remain consistent throughout. I could do the workouts in my home gym and on the schedule necessary to fit into my busy life. Doing them before work gave me a great sense of accomplishment I carried with me through each day. I also experienced mental clarity and energy to sustain myself throughout each long day.
And by the end of the 6 weeks of your starter program, I am more committed than ever and so excited to start your sequel program! I can tell that another 6 weeks of this training is going to be incredible for me not only in preparation for my summer body (though a very nice perk! haha), but also toward building more strength and a sense of accomplishment that comes from sticking to a commitment, especially when it’s a commitment to bettering yourself.
Truly, I believe your program has changed me so much for the better that I think strength training has become a way of life for me now and I’ll never go back to a lifestyle that doesn’t include strength training every week.
Thank you for the challenge and for helping me meet my challenges. Thank you for the accountability, thank you for the kind of strength I think we all need, physical AND mental. Thank you – for everything.”

“I’m a trainer of almost 10 years from upstate New York. I got your first program pretty quickly after you released it last year because I have always respected your training philosophy, and it did not disappoint. I did the program myself and had a few clients follow it as well with some minor adjustments.
My clients enjoyed (maybe that’s exaggerated) and saw results from itvas well so it was a no brainer to acquire your sequel. The twist you put on exercises/programs has been extremely helpful for programming for clients and training myself. The layout of it makes sense, is effective, and is challenging for people of all levels of fitness. Added bonus if a client complains about a certain exercise I get to blame you now.
The sequel program really helped me power through my first much needed dry January. I lost 10 stubborn pounds, created a lot of healthy habits, and stayed motivated to keep improving every workout.
This time around after buying the sequel I convinced my sister to give your program a try as well. She started from the beginning of your first gram and already finished all phases of that one and the sequel (didn’t take as many rest days as we advised but theyre is only so much you can do from afar). Texted me every other day raving about how much she likes it and looks forward to getting it done every morning (said no one ever). My sister is a mother of 2 and has just gotten back into lifting after her second last fall. She is notorious for program hopping so getting her to stick to a plan that she enjoyed and stayed consistent with has never been easy, but getting her to workout before work/the kids getting up is shocking to say the least. She has seen incredible results, and more importantly has makes it a priority so I’m very thankful/proud.
Looking forward to what the future holds keep up the good work man!”

“This is the workout program to end all workout programs. I give it 5/5 stars and here’s why:
WEIGHT TRAINING
I know weightlifting can be scary and daunting, but this is the most approachable program and workouts I’ve ever experienced. The workouts are only as challenging as you make them, so up your weight as you get stronger and see how strong you are. After years of working out and trying endless programs, I finally feel STRONG and I feel myself getting stronger every week.
THE PROGRAM
It is so easy to stay committed to this program since it’s just 3 days a week! I think that is my favorite part. I walk every day to stay active, and weight training + walking might be the best combo ever. I’ve never felt stronger and I’m working out LESS than with other programs/studios I’ve tried.
THE APP
The video tutorials are a blessing. I am by no means a gym rat and trying to understand proper form on your own can be overwhelming. Ben explains everything and even shows you what NOT to do. The program setup makes it super easy to track your progress and keep challenging yourself to up your weights. Plus, the workout notifications and option to adjust your workout schedule is an added bonus to stay on track.
NUTRITION
The program goes above and beyond by providing you with the tools and guides you need to get your nutrition on track. You can workout all you want, but if you don’t have the nutrition side down, you’re just wasting your time. This is the only program I’ve seen that gives you both components of getting strong and fit = workouts + nutrition.
CONFIDENCE
I feel more confident with every workout. Sometimes I drag my feet to start a workout but I know once I get through it, I’m going to feel unbelievably amazing, accomplished, strong, confident—I could go on forever. I am so happy I gave this program a chance and I’m so excited to see just how strong I can get (without getting bulky, of course!).
THANK YOU”

“Hi there! Here is my submission for the 6-Week Challenge:
My reasoning for signing up for Ben Bruno’s Six Week Starter Pack may look a little different than what might be expected. I did not sign up to get fit, or to lose weight, or learn how to create a fitness routine. In fact, it was quite the opposite.
I am a seasoned fitness junkie. For years I’ve loved group classes, high-intensity anything, heat, sweat, you name it. Fitness is a major part of my life – it keeps me clear, grounded, and inspired. But as they say – too much medicine can be poison, and I have never felt that more than I did just prior to beginning this program.
To be frank, my love for fitness turned into quite the obsession. An unhealthy one at that. After 20 years of always trying to go harder, faster, and with that same old ‘more is more’ mentality that was constantly affirming that whatever I was doing was never enough – it had all culminated to this point of breakdown. My body began to have aches and pains that no other 34 year old I know even comes close to experiencing. The way I moved through my day had become rigid and controlling. My thoughts more compulsive. And not to mention, my chronic IBS caused by a Microscopic Colitis diagnosis had become worse than its ever been. I felt inflamed, defeated, trapped, and was quite literally losing sleep over this, all in the name of staying ‘healthy’ and ‘fit’.
My husband, my family, my friends, my doctors all begged me to slow down. My own Inner Knowing was begging me to slow down. But my ego was loud – I didn’t know how or where to start, and truthfully, I was afraid. I knew strength training was gaining in popularity among women and had heard it was an incredible and sustainable way to stay healthy and strong. But I still had my reservations. I didn’t believe it would give me that same fresh endorphin high that I loved so much from my cardio workouts. I didn’t believe it would keep me thin and toned. But really, I just didn’t believe I was capable of figuring it all out and trying something new and unfamiliar.
And then, Ben Bruno came along.
When I got introduced to this program by an influencer I follow, I immediately knew in my bones this was exactly what I needed. I bought the both the men and women’s program during the Black Friday sale for my husband and I, with the intention that come January 2024 it was time to turn a new leaf. Together we joined the gym, gave up alcohol, and when the new year came we promised ourselves and each other that we were going to see this program through and hold one another accountable.
And now, 7ish weeks later, I could not be more grateful. All of my pre-conceived notions were proven false and not only do I have an entirely new perspective on strength training, I am seeing what’s possible for myself in a whole new light. The workouts felt so approachable – they kicked my butt though never to the point of exhaustion. I feel stronger than I’ve ever felt before. But not only that – the pain I was experiencing has essentially dissipated, I feel calmer and more present than ever, I’m sleeping like a baby, and my husband and I are closer and more bonded as a result of sticking with this together (suprisingly he is very much the opposite of me and had hardly any fitness experience). I’ve also noticed that my mindset around food is shifting – the nutrition guidelines provided have helped me to better understand how to fuel myself, and I find myself approaching food now as a means to restore and nourish, as opposed to the punish and eliminate mentality that I had before. But most of all, I feel free. The workouts themselves provide me with a new found confidence and appreciation for my body and its abilities, but including more walking, slow yoga, and lower intensity workouts on my off days have allowed me to feel just so genuinely GOOD in my physical and mental being. I look forward to my ‘off’ days just as much as I look forward to my ‘on’ days, which was never the case two months ago. I feel so genuinely nourished, balanced and whole.
I have just now begun my second round of this program and am thrilled to be continuing on this journey. I cannot thank Ben Bruno and this program enough. It has truly changed my life.”

“I have never seen my husband so focused on his workout schedule. He would do little bit of that and this at the gym while I already followed your plan.
Then I gifted him your workout plan. It was like switch went ON. He actually told me today after our workout that it was the best $200 I spent on gift for him.
We do his and hers workouts. Feel so much better physically and mentally. Not to mention clothes fitting much better.
He jokes “Bruno said…” and we do it. We both feel amazing. And looking at the fact we are mid-50s and almost 50, I dare to say we look pretty darn good.
Thank you for creating not only an amazing program but also helping us to stay connected even more than before. “

“So, I bought your program the last time it was on sale. I was very much into lifting at the gym for about 10 years, then had a couple of kids then COVID. Haven’t really gained workout momentum at home.
Your program is reminding me of what it feels like to be strong and have better mobility. Not sure how to put into words how impactful that is for me – after having kids, your body and how it feels/ moves/works changes a lot. This feels like prepregnancy movement in the BEST possible way. So thanks for making it. 12/10 recommend.”

“I really love the bang for your buck exercises that are included in the programs. I also love that there is an EXTENSIVE library of alternate exercises that can be plugged in. This is especially helpful when I am working out at home versus my gym at school and I have less equipment. I love that you don’t feel like you are getting less of a workout with being able to swap out different exercises.
The nutrition information from Precision Nutrition is extremely helpful to simplify things like portion control and the photo handouts of protein/carb/fat sources and which ones to prioritize are also a game changer.
As a strength and conditioning teacher I have also been able to incorporate some of the Bruno Strong exercises into my students workout programs and will also incorporate exercises like the hollow hold triceps extension into their Tabata finishers.
Overall I am extremely pleased with my progress with Ben’s programs in terms of continuing to build an athletic physique as a 41 year old father of 3.
I have signed up to be an affiliate of Ben’s programs as they are extremely affordable and have yielded fantastic results.
Most importantly THANK YOU Ben for bringing these programs to the masses and allowing people to get quality, affordable training from a like yourself!!!”
“I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve gone through the programs since they’ve started. My app tells me I’ve done a total of 210 workouts. When this challenge came up, I asked myself how this time around could be different for me. How could I challenge myself in a new way?
I’ve seen a ton of changes in my body throughout my journey since starting the first program, but I’ve also noticed something interesting as I’ve started really keeping track. My weight fluctuates, and it’s very consistent in its fluctuation. I’m almost always floating between two weights that are around a 5-pound difference. I know it has to do with menstruation and hormone change throughout the month. Sometimes it has to do with diet and visitors coming to town to ruin my progress. But ultimately, I settle back to my lowest weight at some point in the month. I’m telling you all of this to show how this particular challenge was different for me.
I did weigh myself each day still. Just to experiment. I knew I would have two visitors in town during the 6 weeks. I knew I’d likely catch at least one bug from my children. And of course, I did get a cold for one week. The numbers were exactly what I expected. Started at 142 went down to 138 at one point. Back up to 142 at one point and back down to 138 in the end. This time though, I didn’t let it bother me. I was kind to myself. I have a tendency to overdo it. To add in extra workouts when I’ve been “bad”. Or workout harder on the days when I don’t feel good. This time around, I decided that my challenge was to myself. To be kind and to give myself a break when I needed it.
So, I stuck to the schedule. For the most part. There were definitely weeks when I squeezed in a fourth workout. But it was usually to make up for a change in plans and to ensure I didn’t go too many days without strength training. But it didn’t happen as often as in the past. And because of this, I put more of my time into other types of movement. Allowing my body to rest on my off days and do mobility and cardio. Definitely focused more than ever on recovery. And the result has been better than I could have anticipated. My body feels incredible. Stronger and also just, healthier. I don’t feel as tight and sore as normal. I feel more capable. I even ran a 12K trail run in Griffith Park that I hadn’t really been training for besides a few hikes here and there. But because of my consistency with strength and mobility, I was able to complete it with ease and even sprinted to the finish line.
I’m so grateful for this challenge. Without it, I wouldn’t have pushed myself out of my comfort zone. It kept me honest and allowed me to adopt a new perspective. I often push myself harder when there is even the slightest taste of competition. But this time around, especially since I had done the program so many times before, I knew the challenge had to be internal. And because of this, I feel like going forward I am able to now make smarter and healthier choices.
Looking forward to the third program!”

“I was first introduced to you on Chelsea Handler’s podcast, way back when. Your vulnerability about your mental health experiences, dry sense of humor, and no frills training method is what I liked about you. I started following you on Instagram immediately. I enjoy your posts of celebrities, pro-athletes, and us normal people alike all doing the same kind of workouts, in modified fashion (of course). Your tried and true “boring” approach to fitness and total body workouts is what sold me on your programs.
I was a competitive gymnast decades ago, and have been a non-athlete for (much) longer than I was one, but working out had always given me a glimpse of my former self, and made me feel my best. But over the years, I have fallen into the grind of climbing the ladder, raising a family, and only seeing a glimpse of myself 1-2 days a week…every few weeks…or months…if I’m being honest. I bought some online programs in the past from some wonderful female trainers and fitness pros, but they were all split day routines, requiring 4-5-6 days a week commitment, which was never sustainable for my life. Then came your programs.
I bought the Starter and Sequel for Black Friday (thanks for the discount ) and got started instantly. Yes, life has come into play a few times throughout both programs, but all-in-all, I have been able to maintain the workouts while traveling 80% of the week for my job. I cannot say enough wonderful things about your exercises, instructional videos, modifications, and how it all comes together beautifully. The total-body workout is my favorite way to exercise, and it’s freshening to hear you agree it shows results. I saw results within 3 weeks, ridiculously faster than any split day routine I’ve done in the past. Following your program 3 days a week is sustainable for anyone prioritizing their time. And my mobility has improved dramatically just by the nature of your exercises. Most importantly, I have seen my former self more and more, and everyone in my life is thankful for you, for that!
Regardless if I win, I will continue to repeat the Starter and Sequel because they are just “that good”, and I’m super pumped for the next program to come out. “
“I have just finished the Women’s 6-Week Starter Pack and I honestly thought it was a great program. I did have a goal of losing at least 6 pounds, and I have surpassed that. From January 8th to today, I have lost 9 pounds total. However I am not the most proud of that, this program has given me confidence in the gym and lifting weights that I haven’t had before. In the past when I have gone to the gym I have been so intimidated by all of the guys lifting weights that I usually go up and go on the elliptical for 45 minutes but I don’t enjoy this and it wasn’t giving me any of the results that I wanted. This program gave me a guide in the gym and with the videos, I am comfortable doing these exercises. The way that the app is set up, it gave me confidence I was doing the exercises correctly by watching the videos first and it was very helpful that this was tailored to women. The app pushed me past limits I thought I had because with each exercise, I would see what weight I did last time and I always wanted to either increase the weights or reps each time. This pushed me further and has gotten me on the right track to a healthier lifestyle.
Before starting this program, I was the most out of shape I have ever been in my life and it seemed like a huge undertaking to start exercising and dieting all at once, cutting the “bad” foods out all at once. My self confidence was at an all time low. The program helped me to feel like I wasn’t alone in this, if I had a cheat meal that is okay, and by incorporating different goals each week, it seemed much more manageable for me. The suggestions gave me many different choices of foods to eat and the weekly messages and goals helped to keep me on track. The app really did hold me accountable in exercising, dieting and balancing a healthier lifestyle.
I want to thank you for creating such an incredible program! The confidence this has given me is unmatched and I can’t wait to further my healthy lifestyle journey and keep incorporating the exercises and food choices into my every day life. I can’t wait to try the next program!!”

“As an ER doctor since Covid I have been working out on my balcony overlooking the ocean and struggled to find a complete body workout that fits into my ER schedule, surfing, horse back and motorcycle riding. I was feeling very overweight with a high BMI 29 and cholesterol in December 2022 and I had watched Chelsea Handler transform from muffin top to tight and toned.
I wanted the same for my 50 year old body. I was 185 pounds and 5 foot 6 and having trouble popping up on my surf board and performing athletically. I took the 6 week starter on Feb 6, 2023 and lost fat and gained muscles and leaned down to 175lbs. I continued using your workouts in between my sports and have continued to feel fantastic and by the end of the year I was down to 160lbs. I signed up again the beginning of Jan 2024 for the sequel to take my body to the next level. I originally could only do 5 lbs with my shoulders and now I do 15 pounds and my surf pop up in on point! With the sequel I lost an additional few pounds and now I am at a comfortable 155lbs with a healthy BMI of 25.
I cannot wait to go back to Fiji as the Surfdoctor and surf my brains out & I have memorized the pre workout so I can do that at their tiny island gym. I feel as good as Chelsea skiing down the mountain with her 2 pack pups
. Mucho mahalo for creating this mermazing at home work out I can fit into my crazy schedule. I love your dry humor, ménage a trios exercises
& ability to make the work out easier or harder. I am going to compete in Barrel racing Rodeo this summer and stoked to have the horse carry less of a load. Lol! Now when I workout watching whales breach I don’t feel like one anymore
Mucho Mahalo, one of Your biggest fast who is now a bit smaller and stronger”
“I have been doing strength training at home for over a decade, and Ben’s programs are my favorites by far!
I’ve seen the best results with the programs. I can left heavier, and I’ve increased weight faster than I did with other programs.
Second, and honestly more importantly, is how well the program fits into my life. You don’t have to spend hours and hours exercising every day to see results. It also frees me up on non-strength days to add movement if I want. When I did splits, I would often be so tired the day after that I wouldn’t want to do anything. Now I am fine to take long walks or short runs on my off days.
I’m so happy I took the plunge and started Ben’s programs. I’d recommend them to everyone.”
“Since starting your training program I’ve seen tremendous muscle growth but most importantly a huge improvement in my personal strength. My physical abilities have really surprised me while helping boosting my confidence. I feel empowered and way stronger now than when I first began your program. Your program has allowed me to push my limits and achieve feats I never thought possible (like heavy weights up to 50 pound dumbbells). Unfortunately, I have a few more sessions to do because I got Covid and it was followed by a bad sinus infection but all of what I experienced so far has been amazing.
I’m a 38 year old male, father of 2, husband of 1, and a middle school teacher. I’ve got a busy schedule but your program has made working out easy and adaptable to my schedule. Just working out 3 days a week for 45 minutes has shown the most growth. I’ve been a member of Peloton for 4 years and have tried all aspects of their strength progress. Ben, your program has given me more muscle and strength power than all those years of Peloton (think I can get refund from peloton?)
One of the most remarkable improvements I’ve experienced is in my stamina. Thanks to the meticulously planned workouts and the videos, I have built up my endurance levels and can now sustain intense workouts for longer periods. This newfound stamina has not only enhanced my physical performance but has also boosted my confidence in my own capabilities. I no longer feel limited by fatigue, giving me the drive to push harder and surpass my previous limits.
One of my proudest moments was realizing that I can now do pull-ups with ease, a feat that seemed impossible since middle school gym (thanks Mr. Sagisi ). I’ve always been an overweight human, and most of the moves on your program were tough for me in the past. The combination of full body targeted exercises and progressive overload has enabled me to strengthen my muscles and develop the necessary skills to conquer challenging movements like pull-ups. This achievement serves as a testament to the effectiveness of your program in helping me reach new heights of personal strength and physical power fullness.
Thank you so much! I look forward to trying the program 2 and 3! “
“This program has been a game-changer for me, not only in terms of physical strength and endurance but also in terms of challenging and enhancing my mental well-being. The progressive approach kept me on track, and the results speak for themselves.
A few key takeaways…
At first, I was skeptical about using the app to track my workouts. I have always gone old school with my program on paper or in a notebook to keep track, etc. I thought doing it on my phone was going to be annoying. After the first week, I actually enjoyed the tracking on the app!! Surprised myself. Thanks for challenging me to keep an open mind!
I played golf in college and had right hip surgery and left shoulder surgery when I got out of college. I became super interested in how the body works, etc., and spent years getting my body back to moving and feeling well. Yoga helped me a ton. With your program, I feel like I’m not adding strength to dysfunction. I am moving better and becoming stronger. During the fourth week of the program, I knocked my elbow at work, and it actually caused some serious discomfort. (Annoying problem to have) I was still able to make modifications and continue with the program.
I love the structure of your programming, and I will continue to use it.
For future programs It would be sweet if you could actually swap out an exercise if that specific exercise wasn’t quite right for you and you needed to modify it, etc.
Thanks for all you do Ben. I respect and appreciate you“
“Thank you thank you thank you
I’ve been doing the program for a year and I’ve never felt better physically but more importantly mentally. I’ve consistently exercised for over 25 years ever since I was a chunky teenager and realized I might want someone to see me naked. That regime included excessive high impact cardio, light weights with endless reps and not enough food. It felt like a constant struggle physically and mentally. Other workouts were too fast paced to focus on form and it felt like you had to do every exercise in the prescribed order even if it didn’t feel right for my body. I’ve lived with self inflicted pain to my wrists, elbows and knees for which I mainly blame burpees. I love your program because it’s straightforward enough for anyone to do but is also easily customizable to what my body needs and can do that day. There doesn’t feel like there’s any deprivation or judgement with your program. I’m able to get a full body workout in a reasonable amount of time. The warm up is the perfect way to prepare my body and mind for a good workout and it’s become second nature. Doing the same routines hasn’t gotten boring especially because I’m able to see how much I’m progressing. I’m eating more than ever because I’m concentrating on fueling myself with protein ( and other deliciousness I’ve found from your wife). My mind frame has switched from constantly trying to stay lean to a much healthier concentration on gaining muscle and making myself stronger. I’ve never felt more confident and happy.
That being said, if I happen to win the challenge I’d put the money towards a life long dream of a trip to Paris to eat a lot of cheese and wine.
Xoxo”
“Thanks for putting together this 6 week challenge. I’m writing in just to say how much this program helped with my hip impingement pain. I was seeing a PT for it, but after your program the pain is gone. Not only do I feel strong, my blood panel looked great. I lowered my cholesterol and LDL, and improved my HDL. I’m currently repeating your program again to see if I can get stronger. My only recommendation would be to give a “Bruno Strong” shirt away for third place. Those are rad. Cheers!”
“I love your programs. I’ve been training regularly for nearly 15 years now, and preparing to write this has allowed me to think over all the different programs, workout splits, and flavor-of-the-week-gear I’ve tried throughout that time. Yours has been my favorite by far, and the one I’ve stuck with the longest.
I’ve never wanted to be the biggest guy in the room; I’m what you would typically call “lanky/gangly/skinny”. But since I’ve started your programs, I’ve gradually gotten progressively stronger, and am starting to notice definition where there wasn’t any before. In the past, I tended to plateau often and not challenge myself, to just go through the motions of a stale workout schedule. The amount of variety in both programs ensures that’s never a problem anymore.
The biggest positive of all has been improvements in my mental health, namely the following:
-I find myself looking forward to each workout.
-I feel a great sense of accomplishment when completing a workout.
-I feel more confident on a regular basis than I have in years.
-I recently turned 39 and am see a path forward as I enter my 40’s with your programs.
-I now enjoy doing Bulgarian split-squats (WTF, right?!!?)
-I bought and regularly wear a sleeveless workout top as a direct result of these workouts. I know that may sound lame! But it was always a goal I had, but always talked myself out of, for fear that I would look/feel silly. I now wear it with pride.
I rarely write testimonials or reviews for anything, but this is one I couldn’t pass up. People these days are quick to criticize and slow to compliment, so I’ll close by saying: you’ve done an amazing thing with these programs that has positively impacted so many people, and you should be proud of that. Thank you!!!”
“I’ve followed you for a while after learning about you through some health/wellness influencers like Max Lugavere. After messing around in the gym and trying to follow Reddit routines for about a year, I decided I needed to commit to something results-driven that I could reasonably follow, afford, and learn about strength training from someone I trust.
I started on my birthday (Jan 8) and have been so pleased with the full 6-week program – I never skipped a day! I love a routine, so checking your workouts off my lists 3X a week never felt better. I was able to fully learn and execute every single movement, track and improve upon my weight limits, and actually see some results in my physicality.
I never once felt overtly sore or outworked – for this reason, I didn’t dread the workouts. Nothing involved a big, scary machine, though I still gained confidence at the gym going to the bench section and grabbing heavier kettlebells.
I’m restarting the program and hope to keep running it back until summer. I love the regiment and the exercises are really great. I feel proud of myself and motivated to just keep going. This is one of the best investments I’ve made for my health – and it’s a small one at that considering I’m planning to keep doing it back-to-back.
Results-wise: I feel stronger and can tell my muscles are becoming more defined. I am working towards progressive overloads, something I have never been able to do. Even if only I can notice these results (from just a short 6-week period), it has given me immense confidence in and out of the gym.
Thank you for making this accessible!!!! “

” I have been doing the Ben Bruno program for over a year now and have completed both the original and the sequel twice with coaching from my brother-in-law/coach, Neil Grupp. Neil is a certified trainer and has helped me work on my form and increase my weights. We have been working out together virtually every week for the past year (with an occasional in person training session when he and my sister are in town). I work two jobs and get up at 5 am to workout at 6 am!
I have been a runner for most of my life, running many long distance races. During covid, to keep myself from going crazy, I would run anywhere from 6 to 10 miles a day, usually 4 or 5 days a week. I even completed a virtual half marathon. I began to experience a lot of pain from running so much. Over the past years, I have experienced severe (almost debilitating) lower back pain, knee pain and shin splints. I have lived with the pain in my lower back for almost 10 years since having my twins. I have spent years in physical therapy and chiropractic care, but still experienced daily pain. Neil introduced me to the Ben Bruno program last year and since then I have become a lot stronger and basically eliminated the pain I was experiencing!
When we started the program last year, I started with body weight on most exercises and am now able to row 40 lbs, squat and lunge with 45 lbs, I am using 20 lb weights for shoulder presses and even got up to 25 lbs weights for the hollow body chest flies and elbows out tricep extensions last week!
What the Ben Bruno program has done for me is hard to put into words. It has relieved my pain, given me confidence and has completely changed my body composition! I’m stronger, leaner and overall healthier! I have a love for strength training that I never thought was possible!”
“I just want to start off by thanking you. Your programs have made a huge impact on my life for many reasons.
During the week the only time I have to workout is at 5am due to family and job constraints. Working out at 5am isn’t easy but having your programs have made that a little easier. I’ve done countless programs out there by some of the top trainers and it’s always been tough to workout at 5am. Along came your programs and I actually look forward to the workouts every time. I think the biggest factor is they are fun and you get results.
I started last year with your first program and then your second program and I’ve actually lost track how many times I’ve done them. I can honestly say that I’ve been doing them ever since that first program came out. The cool thing as well, is I feel like I have an understanding of how you program your workouts. So over the past year when I felt like I’ve need a change I have been able to plug in different exercises into your programs.
When I fist started your program last year my goals were simple; to get strong, get a 405 trap bar deadlift and to look good. Well, I’ve gotten a lot stronger, I even accomplished that 405lb deadlift and I’ve noticed a change in how I look as well.
The one thing I’ve always struggled with though has been my nutrition. As we all know, nutrition and working out go hand in hand. This January I had a goal that I wanted to go to the beach this summer and be comfortable taking my shirt off. Truth be told I think I’ve had this goal for the past 10 years and I’ve never stuck with it.
I wasn’t sure what was going to change for me this time, that is until I saw your post about the 6 week challenge. I’m not sure what it is was this time but you lit a fire under my butt. I finally started to dial in my nutrition and with the help of your workouts and a change in diet, I have lost 8lbs in six weeks. I went from 220lbs to 212lbs. To me it’s not so much the number but more of how I look and for the first time in a long time I can say that I like what I am seeing. I’m not where I want to be yet but I know I’m going to get there this summer.
Lastly, probably the best thing to come out your workouts for me hasn’t necessarily getting that 405lb deadlift or losing weight and looking good but it’s seeing my kids watch me doing your programs on Saturday morning and wanting to join in. That to me has been amazing. “
“As someone who has been trying to stay fit and healthy, I find this challenge helpful overall. Ben Bruno’s videos have been extremely helpful and clear in terms of the tips on what not to do vs what to do. Throughout the challenge, I noticed a significant improvement in the strength of my upper body, which was initially a weak area for me. This progress became evident as I found myself able to do workouts that were once challenging for me at the start of this challenge. I’m tempted to do another 6 weeks to see if I can do the initial workouts differently!”
Mandy
“Well….. I’ve completed the competition! I’m proud of myself! Rather than setting a specific weight or measurement goal, my goal was to prioritize myself and simply to commit to seeing it through.
The past couple of years have been challenging, from the pandemic to being a caregiver for my mom, support for my dad, and working full time. Somewhere along the way, I neglected my own well-being. I wasn’t struggling with a work-life balance, it was a work-life-caregiver balance, with the life part squished between the two and the first to go.
This competition provided the accountability I needed. Having a structured gym routine, tracking my progress, and setting personal bests became my motivation. I scheduled my workouts, 5:30 am, it’s the only time I can consistently commit to it. I’ve always been competitive with myself, so seeing those high fives from you pushed me to challenge myself even more. Now, I am stronger and feel more like myself again, and that’s the best feeling.
It’s not the end of a competition but the start of getting back on track.
So thank-you Ben”
Jenny
“I love these workouts! The programming of the strength portion is perfect for my focus on sport (tennis). I have to say that, in addition the main portion of the workout, the biggest asset for me is the warm up with foam rolling, stretching and warm up exercises. Over the holidays I injured my back. taking the time to properly warm up has made all the difference in feeling stronger for my lifts and for helping my back to heal, become more flexible and resilient.
A friend visited me from out of town and I took her to gym to do two of the workouts. She loved then so much, she bought them herself and is loving them too. Thank you for your hard and thoughtful work on these! I look forward to the next round when it is ready to go.”
Andie
“I’m a former college athlete, once fueled by pre-game jitters now wrestling laundry baskets and dodging Legos. My definition of strength shifted from pushing limits in the gym to conquering the daily challenges of raising four amazing kids(including triplets!). While motherhood is truly rewarding, the athletic fire within me never dies, yearning for challenges beyond homeschool planning and grocery store marathons. I crave the physical sensation of strength, but I struggle with the commitment to prioritize working on it.
After completing the six weeks, I feel stronger. I saw the amount of weight I was lifting rise little by little over time. My energy has increased, and overall I feel great. But this program wasn’t just about lifting weights (though let’s be honest, I reveled in hoisting something heavier than a backpack for a change). It was about the mental muscles I flexed. Each completed workout was a victory against the “you don’t have time” and “you’re too busy” whispers.
Bruno Strong isn’t a fad, a quick fix, or a guilt trip into getting my pre-baby body back. It is a meticulously crafted plan, a roadmap back to the power I remembered using lifts that were familiar to my body. Designed for busy lives, the 3x/week plan is sustainable for anyone who is prone to burnout. No more time wasted deciphering what to do next – each day brought a clear plan, eliminating decision fatigue, and allowing more mental capacity for tackling the day-to-day demands of motherhood.”

“Since taking on the challenge six weeks ago, I found out a few things:
1. My life is changing soon – at the end of 9 months, something big is happening in my life in September. Since I don’t want to make a BIG public announcement, I’ll leave this up to interpretation.
2. My work is busier than it’s ever been, so time is of the essence to get my workout done. I am typically up at 4:45 am to begin working out at 5:00 am. Every one of these workouts can be completed in an hour’s time. So key to my lifestyle.
3. I have a 6-year old daughter, with many competing priorities that fall into raising a young kiddo. For some reason, I find myself also filling my plate with other opportunities. I coach a collegiate cycling team in Indiana (Go Phi Psi!) and I also teach exercise physiology at a university in St. Paul, Minnesota (Go Golden Bears!), so free time is sparse.
I’ve been consistently doing your programming since it came out last February. Every 6 weeks, I start it again, bump up the weight, change a few things up (no burpees…I promise), and continue to surprise myself.
I’ve done the meathead thing. I’ve done the HIIT thing. I’ve done the group exercise thing. It’s all movement. They all promote positive results, but your programming is so effective and easy to follow, that it’s silly to deviate.
So – I don’t have a weight loss picture, or some tape measurement of my biceps, but I can tell you that I’ve been as healthy and as strong as I’ve ever been over the past six weeks, as well as over the past year of my Ben Bruno journey. I’ve got you to thank.
Keep up the great work”
Dan

“I love your program because I feel stronger, I challenge myself – more weights/more repetitions – all the time, mostly I listen to my body so I don’t hurt myself. I’m doing your program to keep my mobility and to feel good about my myself. I haven’t lost weight but I’ve gained muscle definition and I’m very happy about it. Because of past injuries my trainer suggested alternative exercises to a couple of your exercises. I also train with a trainer once a week but we do more balance work.
I’ve bought the next program but haven’t started it yet.
There are people at the gym that ask me about the program I’m doing and I show it to them and they like it – though I don’t know if any of them has bought it yet – I HIGHLY recommend your program it’s easy to follow and it’s good for every level.
I can’t thank you enough and I’m looking forward to starting the new program on 3/4″

“I’ve always been athletic, worked out consistently, but felt a bit unfocused in the gym when it came to lifting weights. I followed you for quite some time and watched you train your celebrity clients like Chelsea Handler, Kate Upton, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake. I was thrilled to see your online program and purchased without hesitation. I was consistent and never missed a workout, although some times I moved the workout to different day( a feature I loved!) Your program enabled me to stay focused, engage in proper warm-ups. I was able to build my strength I was lifting heavier than I had lifted in quite some time. I enjoyed working with the app being able to substitute exercises when necessary for me. It was really helpful just to always have you there with me the videos I watched plenty of times just to always refocus and reestablish proper form in the gym .
Overall I feel stronger and look forward to the Sequel!!! “
“I freaking LOVE this program! I mean I loved the starter pack, but I love the Sequel like 10 times more!
I have done a bajillion different programs and have been training for the last 20 years of my life really, including a bikini competition, only to say I feel like I’ve seen quite a bit and actually my boyfriend and a few friends tell me I could probably be a trainer at this point LOL but anyway…
I really love that you are different, and your programs are different. I hate all the super masculine “lift heavier and lift heavier” and even though it’s progress it’s felt forced and leaves you open to burnout and injury.
The Sequel has loads of challenging, but fun, and new exercises. But you always keep it basic – like I literally don’t think I’ve ever done a correct split squat until you taught me to start from the bottom. I mean LIFE changing! LOL but for reals.
I feel challenged, but also like it’s doable and especially for women I can go as heavy or light on the weight based on my cycle as well, but I still feel like I’m getting a challenging and great workout. And I still feel like I’m getting stronger AND more flexible AND healthier, while doing it differently.
I really enjoy the videos and the detailed description of how to do it best and form and what to look out for, while seeing someone else show you what to do before you do it. It makes me feel like I’m doing it right from the get go and don’t have to worry about unexpected pain two days later.
I’ve followed you for a while now, and I really just love that you keep it simple, and you’re different from a lot of the others in like seriously the best way possible.
I’m a life coach and mentor and so I know how important our “life force energy” is, and what exercise can do for both body AND mind. And I really love that you keep it simple, but still have programs that are challenging AF at times and keep me getting better every time.
I think the whole point is to let exercise help us live our best life, to be mobile and strong and healthy, again fit body and mind – and your programs help me achieve that in an effective and sustainable way!
Thank you SO much for everything. My boyfriend and I also used your program to get his 16 y/o son started in the gym and now he’s getting in wicked good shape!”
Vicky
“I really love this program. When I first started I was concerned that I would get bored, that the workouts would be repetitive. That’s not the case at all. I’ve been through the starter pack 4 times. As I revisit the workouts I become more confident with my form, I adjust the reps and weights as I become stronger, I add holds or resistance bands to increase the difficulty. I feel like the program encourages you to challenge yourself, which is a lot of fun.
I purchased phase two as soon as it was released. It’s safe to say that I’m loving it too. It’s pretty amazing how adding a rotation or some instability results in you feeling a movement in a completely different way.
I can confidently say that I’m stronger and leaner than I’ve ever been. This program has done so much to strengthen my core, improve my balance, and add some nice definition to my figure, specifically my back and shoulders. I can’t really explain it, but I‘ve also been in a really good mood since making the program my regular routine. My friends, family, even strangers at the gym keep telling me how great I look. And while I don’t do it for the compliments, it is nice to know that the hard work shows.
I recommend this program to everyone who will listen to me.”
Rebecca
“I‘m two trainings into the new program and love it! It’s the perfect sequel to the first one as it turns the workout up a notch in a very thoughtful way. It doesn’t just make everything harder but challenges with balance and coordination.
Also there are new moves added in general and I definitely feel muscles I haven’t worked before. So together with the first program I think it makes a really well balanced full body strength training.
It really makes me excited to go to the gym.
I have done the first program 3 or 4 times. I love how it made me stronger, tighter and leaner. The strength training has also helped my with other sports – which I didn’t think about at the beginning. I just finished a 240km cycling tour over 3,5 days and it was so much easier than before for my legs and overall performance. But the change I’m most grateful for is mentally. Strength training does make you also stronger on a mental level. I feel so much more confident, present and at ease with my body – it’s amazing.
So, long story short – I love the programs, and how you make strength training accessible!”
Julia
“I have done the first week of the Sequel program and really like it. I enjoyed the third workout the most due to the change in format. All the exercises are feasible. Some are similar to the previous program but with a twist! (no pun intended lol). Tomorrow starts the second week and I will try increasing weights from last week.
Thanks for a great program that I enjoy doing and sticking to it!”
Nora
“I just finished up the first week of The Sequel. Here are my thoughts overall, though, for both this and The Starter.
You have stated how you hoped to create something to replicate training in person with you. I’ve never trained with you, but I feel you’ve done just that.
Between the exercise selections and pairings, I’m able to push myself hard and also feel safe doing so. That’s not an easy balance, yet you’ve done it.
The workouts are self-regulating and give me the confidence to push myself without much worry of injury or not being able to recover. I’ve left each workout feeling like I was challenged yet also able to come back for the next workout. Consistency is key for so many things. And the structure of this allows for that.
It’s honestly been a match made in heaven and is what my body needs right now at this point in life. At 44 years old, with a toddler at home and a new baby on the way in a few months, these workouts have hit the magic blend of being efficient (not time-consuming) while allowing me to work hard and recover well. This allows me to stay healthy and strong. That said, these would have been fantastic in my 20’s as well. I can’t think of any age or stage of life that wouldn’t benefit.
After my experience with The Starter, I immediately purchased The Sequel when it was released. I’m already crossing my fingers for The Trilogy 🙂
All kidding aside, thank you. I appreciate you.”

“Had a great first run with it and find myself feeling stronger and more confident with these exercises! Love the mobility aspect incorporated and being able to do alternative or substituted exercises, the library of how-to videos has been super helpful.”

“I purchased during your last sale and started that week. Two Fridays ago, I completed the 6 week program and last Monday I started my second round of it!
I had been in a rut unable to keep myself honest about my schedule and getting a workout in. Your program has been absolutely amazing! It’s a great workout- each session- and it really leaves it up to the participant to mold (reps, sets, weights), which is awesome and why I am in round two of the program now! It’s also encouraged me to be much more mindful when eating.
I feel so much more energized, stronger, and proud of myself. I can see my whole being – attitude, spirit, physical- changing for the better again and I can’t thank you enough! I hope you have a great kick off this next round! I love the app by the way!”

“First off I just finished the 6 week program and to say this has been life changing is an understatement. Your program is incredible and I love it so much! I have spent a ton of money on virtual strength programs that claimed they have progressive overload etc. None of them gave me the changes that I have experienced with your program! I’ve been “lifting weights” for 15+ years and have never had the changes like I have had with yours and that fact that I enjoy it and look forward to it is huge!!!
I CAN NOT wait for your new program to be released! “
Shamindrie
“I have absolutely loved everything about this program. I’ve tried other online programs that I felt were difficult to sustain over the long-term and were overly complicated. This program is straightforward and accessible, yet challenging. I appreciate the format of the app as well — it’s easy to track your progress over time and revisit the videos if I forget how to do an exercise. On a personal note, I have struggled with postpartum weight-loss and, although I’m not sure I’ve actually lost a significant amount of weight, I am really pleased with how strong and fit my body looks after 6 weeks of this program. For the first time in over a year and a half, I feel confident enough to strut around in a bathing suit! Aside from the superficial aspects, I feel incredibly strong and energized after each workout.
Looking forward to more of your programming in the future!”

“I’m just finishing your 6 week program and I loved it. I have worked with coaches over the years and also through the pandemic. I was looking for something new that I could do on my own either at the gym or at home. I saw that you were launching something and the timing was perfect. I feel that I’m hitting all body parts in a single workout and that’s just amazing. I am going to have the date reset and will start it up again. The videos offer great explanations on form as well.
The nutritional information was such an added bonus. Thank you for sharing. I’m pretty good with my food and nutrition but I really want to focus more on this and follow your recommendations more closely during my next run through.”
Michelle
“I loved your program and found it really helped me focus on my workouts. You made me feel better and get stronger over these last 6 weeks. All in all, it was terrific and I am definitely going to keep using it over and over, unless you want to give me more routines! 😉 Thank you for building it. Both me and my wife bought it and love it.”

“For the past year, I’ve done (Peloton) strength classes, Monday – Friday, with a focus on different parts of the body each day. I saw improvements in my body composition, but not as much as I’d hoped. Transitioning to your approach, with three days a week of full-body training has delivered more results in 6 weeks than I’ve seen in the past year. It works. I struggled with, “is three days a week enough?” Now I know. It’s enough. And I love having the flexibility to incorporate lower impact activities on my off days that make me feel good.
I love that each exercise is simple but multifaceted – I’m getting core work in while I’m doing arms and legs!
The way the app keeps track of the weights I’ve used with each exercise helps me see progression and really motivates me
The videos are great – right level of detail, not too long”

“As a longtime fan of your work, I was excited to try out the app and see how it could help me reach my fitness goals.
Overall, I have to say that I’m impressed with the app’s features and functionality. The workout library is extensive and covers a wide range of exercises, and the ability to customize workouts based on my specific needs and goals is a game-changer. I also appreciate the progress tracking and goal-setting tools, which have helped me stay motivated and focused.
Overall, I think your coaching app is a great tool for anyone looking to improve their fitness and reach their goals. With a few tweaks and improvements, I think it could be even better.
Thank you for creating such a useful resource, and keep up the great work. “

“Hi I almost did the first six weeks without fail and loved (as much as one can) every session! Until I got hit with Covid (three years into the pandemic?! are you kidding me?!)
Everything came to a halt. Now I’m getting back up to speed so…
What did I love? Let me start a list…
– The brainless “just do this” program that didn’t bore me to tears or frustrate me. “Do this. Do another version of this.” Hit the little button to remember to pause between sets. Watch the video if you have no clue. It Is Spectacular!! Easy? No. Challenging? Yes. Doable? Absolutely.
– No obnoxious music with little weird yelping chipmunk people in the background! Thank all the gods for that.
– The woman demonstrating is actually clearly demonstrating! She is strong and capable. You are both professional and it’s most appreciated.
– Your sense of humor. You make me miss the east coast (yes, I know you are a Californian – whatever.)
I am 55 and my first workout program was with Jane Fonda (and all because my mother insisted I suffer with her.) I’ve been through so many programs, and gyms, but I love your attitude the most. I’m looking forward to trying any program you put out there.
Thank you very much!”

“I am a loving the variety and flexibility of this program. I am on the final week and have made some good progress. I struggle to shed fat but I can gain muscle fairly easily and this program has definitely been changing my body composition. I’ll know more after my next Dexa scan but I am getting into jeans I wasn’t comfortable in before I started.
The workout tracking is a nice feature and the video library is helpful. I have been exercising for 40 years and I have loved discovering new exercises and tweaks to some I know. Very creative but effective.”

“I have been working out with well know trainers, ran marathons, and have gone through the fitness gamut for many years. Thus, I was reluctant to start something different and new. I am beyond amazed! I wake up excited to work out and most importantly I have seen a change in myself. Physically I look better (I have not seen this much definition in my body since my 20s), my running is getting faster, and I know am getting stronger thanks to the data that you can access on the app. This program is incredible! You can tell it is well thought out and you have us working the right amount of body parts each session. I cannot wait for the second round to come out. The fact that you have videos on there is beyond helpful, please continue to that. I rely on them so much!
Thank you for making a great product!”
“I’ve tried so many different programs over the past 20 years. Ben’s program is hands down my favorite. I will only do full body workouts moving forward. I feel more athletic, and my body doesn’t feel beat up. Three days per week allowed me to do jiu jitsu and ride my mountain bike which is great. Thanks for such a great program. I look forward to doing your next one.”
“I am on week 5 of the program. (I started a week after the launch due to illness). I must say, I absolutely LOVE this program. The program is very easy to follow and the videos are extremely well done. Both Ben and the model (sorry, her name escapes me) do a great job of demonstrating and explaining each exercise and giving quality reasoning about what each exercise is for, as well as what to do, and what NOT to do in terms of form. I appreciate that the videos are short.
I am definitely stronger as I have increased my weight with my dumbbells for most of the exercises, and I can now do the core exercises with quality form. I am starting to lean out a bit, and I know this will only continue as I continue the program, and I have every intention of doing just that.”
“I’m a 46 year old female. I have loved the program. I’m on week 4, so I’ve still got a couple of weeks left but I plan on repeating it as soon as I finish. If I’m being honest the reason I bought the program was for 2 reasons. 1. I figured if Jessica Biel & Justin Timberlake hired Ben he must really know his stuff. 2. It was 3 days a week. I have been on and off with lifting weights for the last 10 years. I have noticed that I get injured quicker than I used to. If I don’t rest enough the injuries pile up and them I end up quitting. I love that this program is 3 days a week. At first I worried I wouldn’t get the results I wanted if it was only 3 days a week. The workouts are so freaking challenging. I’ve noticed my back had been hurting me a little but wasn’t sure how to fix it. Ever since I’ve been doing this program my back has totally stopped hurting and I know it’s because of the emphasized core workouts. Strengthening my core has healed my back. I like that the core stuff isn’t just boring crunches. It’s actually working the core while also working another muscle.
Probably my favorite thing about the workouts is that it takes into account several muscles with each workout. It’s not just tons of volume on the same body part. I feel like I’m getting a killer workout and giving my all to more than body part. I love that. I have increased my strength a lot over this last 4 weeks. I will be buying the next one that comes out, hopefully sooner than June or July. Come on Ben, you’re not that busy.
Also, Your app is super easy to navigate. A+++”
“First, it’s fabulous!!! Just finishing up the 6 week program. I’m a fit, 60 year old woman who’s always exercised -combo running, barre classes & Peleton arms & abs for add ons.
Your program offers a more current, all encompassing program to build muscle mass, flexibility & balance. Most workouts fail to get the back muscles which I think is so important. Love that you always add arm workouts with the core exercises. Everyone always wants to avoid glutes, but you mix it up enough so it’s not completely dreaded.
I take 10-15 sec between exercises, I don’t really get the 90 sec recco – feels quite long.
Your tutorials are awesome/ she’s a great muse -you’re quick and to the point. With touch of humor.”

“My wife Susannah set me up with your program. I’m in week 6 and still working away. After taking a few years off of any sort of lifting/workout regimen (mostly due to the birth of our twins in 2019!), Ben’s program got me back at it with relative ease.
The video description of the excersises are well thought out and really go into the details of each move. And the ability to keep referencing those videos is a great asset.
The information on food and food choices has really changed my current eating habits as well. And has influenced me to make smarter choices most of the time.
I’m already stronger and plan to keep working. Looking forward to the next program!”

“First, I have been absolutely loving the program. I went back and forth on whether to invest when it first came out and ultimately decided it was worth it and have no regrets. I needed some variety in my workout and have been thoroughly enjoying the layout of the program as well as the philosophy behind it.
I appreciate the video review for each workout as the techniques can vary for some exercises, additionally the historical tracking of reps/weight are incredibly helpful to drive improvements as I progress through the program.”
Annamaria Raineri
“So, I bought your program the last time it was on sale. I was very much into lifting at the gym for about 10 years, then had a couple of kids then COVID. Haven’t really gained workout momentum at home.
Your program is reminding me of what it feels like to be strong and have better mobility. Not sure how to put into words how impactful that is for me – after having kids, your body and how it feels/ moves/works changes a lot. This feels like prepregnancy movement in the BEST possible way. So thanks for making it. 12/10 recommend.”
“Just finished the 6 week program and I LOVED it! My job requires a fair amount of sitting which has led to frequent sore back/hips. The level of glute activation in this program is so good. Feeling so much stronger and no more pain! I can’t wait for your next program.”
Kelly
“My life thanks to the ab workouts and my core got noticeably stronger.
Relatedly, one of my favorite things is how you stacked ab workouts with other parts of the body. E.g.: hollow body, 1 arm press and exercises of the like. This made working the abs so much more enjoyable and efficient.
The workouts were so much fun. Can’t stress this enough. It was the perfect amount of challenging and enjoyable that had me coming back every time.
Exercises like the bird dog row that require some balance and coordination are particularly fun. Not doing the same stuff every day also helped with the motivation.
I liked the warmups too. I’ve never been one to warm up even though I know I should, but this warmup was actually enjoyable. For the next program you develop I’d love to see the warmups change sometimes, provided that’s actually efficient in practice.
Anyway, 10/10 would recommend your program. Thanks for putting it together and I’m looking forward to the next one, customer for life.“

“Hi Ben, I just finished your program (took a two week break from being sick)
but just wanted to let you know it’s a great and very approachable program. I love the efficiency of the workouts and your dry humor in the videos. It has been a great compliment to my other movement routines of hiking, pilates and yoga. Look forward to the new program, thanks for taking the time to read my feedback and thank YOU for designing such an awesome program! Xoxo from HKG”

“Ok- well I really enjoyed the program.
I’m actually repeating it for another 6 weeks which is very rare for me! I found the full body workouts to be pretty tough on the first six weeks but on this second round I am feeling really good on everything. You have a really unique style to your programming and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the new release when you’re all done.
Good luck!“

“Wife bought it for me to get me into working out again as I was in a major slump after L4/L5 injury left me walking with a cane for a while. Since then I have tried other programs, which usually were too intense, too fast, or made prone to injury through obscure exercises. So I defaulted to cardio and quarterly pattern of starting some “lifting program.” Fast forward to this year. I started to program. Week 1 day 1, I walk downstairs to our home gym and start the warm up. The foam roller opened me up like I haven’t been in years. Unlocked my hips, back feels great. Rock through the first warm up.
Then, the first work out made my body feel like an old familiar friend. I look forward to the workouts. Sh*t I feel better about myself. Stronger, objectively. I have the data to back it up, and the butt-dyno says it too. The rest is history and I’m hooked again.
Also, totally manageable with two kids and has made holding my kids easy lifting.“

“I completed the women’s program and l’ve got to say, as a new mom and a working mom who was struggling to get back into the routine, your program made it possible. I only ever had time for the A and B not the C, but it was still a great workout. The videos were super helpful and I really enjoyed how smooth and easy everything was to use. I’ve done PN before so I ignored that stuff this go around- mainly because it was just too overwhelming/I don’t have time.
I’m going to try the men’s program next, and then hopefully work in enough time for the C portion of the workouts. This was so user friendly though and I appreciate how straightforward and effective and efficient you made this. I learned a lot and I’m looking forward to the next round. Thanks for sharing your talents. My mental and physical state are much stronger because of your work!”

“Yo, I just finished this week, your second 6-week program. Not kissing a*s, but yeah, it’s my favorite workout program I have ever followed or purchased. It’s total body to included core. I am seeing strength improvements and if it wasn’t for all the junk I eat, definitely would have been a little more shredded. But hey, slow and steady and consistent is good for me!
Thanks again man. If you want me to test your future workout programs, l’ll be the first in line to help with that.
Have a nice weekend!”

“Hey Ben!
I just wanted to let you know I loved your program! I just finished this week and I plan to start it again next week. A few things I really liked:
– I feel like I’m training vs. just working out.
– The warmup and exercises incorporate mobility (I can already see an improvement here)
– App functionality to track weights. This allowed me to progress each week.
– Full body workouts with core engagement throughout.
I’m the smallest and strongest I’ve been in a very long time. Looking forward to trying out your next program.“

“My guy… finished the 6 week program.
I gained 5 lbs of muscle, and found my groove again. The program was nothing fancy and helped me with my consistency and that’s exactly what I needed. The 7/10 hard mantra is what I live by in my active rehab/trainer profession and for myself.
The concept of this program is something I’ll continue to take with me, really excited to see your 2nd program.
Will be one of the first in line.”

“I started lifting weights six months before Covid.
When we all got sent home, I started using programs to help plan my workouts, and I was always disappointed. This program is exactly what I was looking for. The interface is excellent.
The instructions are clear. The exercises are effective and it’s very easy to use, and most of all I love this approach to training.”

“Yesss it’s so good!!! I have one week left and I am going to restart it from the beginning because I love it that much and am seeing awesome results. I’m 7 months postpartum, so rebuilding my strength has been a very humbling experience. With that said, your program has made me feel strong and confident again. It’s also easy to follow, but challenging (in the best way). The best part is how much stronger I feel after just 6 weeks. Thank you, Ben!!!“
Olivia
“Just completed the 6 week program and loved it! I feel stronger, love that it’s full body and 3 days a week. I’ve tried many fitness programs, but this is the first one I’ve actually finished! I’m excited to go through the program again and I’II be eagerly awaiting the next one!! Thanks again!!!“
Jenna
“This program rocks! It is very user friendly and easy to follow. The length of the coaching cues and videos are perfect! I also love the holistic approach to the app in terms of including a nutrition component, sleep, steps, outside activities, etc. The nutrition tips are non-overwhelming: for example, you give us one tip (eat protein with each meal) rather than 100 tips right off the bat. Most of all this program is really fun!!“
Sarah
“Full disclosure: I was TERRIFIED of going down to only lifting 3 days each week. I had been lifting 5-6x/ week and I thought *for sure* I would lose a bunch of muscle. Turns out, Ben knows what he’s doing. After 6 weeks, I am: lifting heavier, seeing more muscle definition than I had been in MONTHS of lifting more frequently. Down 9lbs, more balanced/steady, my mobility has increased, and I FEEL stronger and more capable than I’ve ever felt.
Worth noting that I did dial in my nutrition to be more consistent but I also have not deprived myself of anything. If I want it, I eat it. I just do so in moderation because the results I’m seeing from Ben’s program make me want to stay consistent.
All that to say: if you were considering Ben’s program? Run, don’t walk, to go sign up.
It’s worth every single penny.
(Which honestly isn’t much for the value you get)“

“Hi Ben! I’m close to finishing my second time through your programming. As much as I enjoyed it the first time through, I think I’ve gained more from it my second time through. I’m still just as challenged, yet moving better and progressing in weight without sacrificing my form. I feel functional and strong!
The meal plan is an absolute game changer as well. Both components of the program strip “fitness” right down to its core- move with intention, eat well most of the time, and don’t overcomplicate it. Do simple better!
I’m eager to purchase the next one when you release it. Thank you!”
Andrew
“Hey! I just wanted to say thank you for releasing this program. I’ve struggled with a bulging disk/lower back pain for about a year or two now. Tried a lot of different protocols… but since starting your full body program I really believe the emphasis on core, especially the obliques has done wonders for my back. Seriously, I had to wear a brace for any kind of deadlifting as well as basketball but now I haven’t had to wear it in the last month or so and I’ve been completely free of any back pain whatsoever. The core feels so much stronger. Thank you Ben!“
Alex
“I just finished up the program. For reference I was a collegiate d1 athlete and have been a coach at that same level for 10+ years. I’ve always been an endurance person (running/rowing) but did Olympic lifts in college and have dabbled in a bit of lifting since those days. I’ve never been happy with lifting or noticed meaningful results. I was always resistant to lifting because I didn’t want to be a meat head and was a fat kid who thought running cured all.
Your program was perfect for someone like me with an athletic background but no idea how to program weights beyond (DL/Squat/bench). The core and sided focus kept me engaged and challenged.
It’s also brilliant to have your instruction to return to and log workouts easily in the app, and have alternative exercises with video to insert. I look at everyone else at the gym and feel bad for them.
Thanks for providing such a great tool!“

“Hi! I started your program for women a couple weeks ago. I work out with a trainer 1x a week and Use your program the other 2-3x a week because I like it and I like the full body splits. I had to start using the gym in my condo building because my dumbbells at home (collected during Covid 5-20lbs) weren’t heavy enough. I’m a 53 year old woman, in the early stages of menopause and my body is changing in ways I can’t control, but l’ve recently seen some strength gains from working out with you like now being able to do 10+ pushups from my toes, actually getting my supported knee down lower in the rear-foot elevated split squat, and lifting 35 lbs dumbbells in some cases.
I use the videos in the app all the time, It was well worth the money even with the exchange rate from US to Canadian $$$. I’ve read the nutritional info and started to use my hand size to measure food. I appreciate that you aren’t obsessive about any of it! Thanks for creating it”

“I worked w/a coach in 2016 to complete a bikini competition, & ever since have been lifting 4-5 days/week w/body part splits.
I was hesitant but excited to try your program. I’ve been following you for years & value your knowledge/ expertise, but had never tried full body training & wasn’t sure how my body (& let’s be honest..brain!) would react to the shift. I HAVE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!! The dynamic & thorough warmup you provided is unmatched. Great heart rate bump to get things kicked off, & truly put my body in a state of being ready to work.
The breakdown of the program & exercises was easy to follow, AND the app with the detailed videos is invaluable! Being able to refer back at any time is huge. The program without a doubt has made me stronger, AND some of my prior injuries (lower back & hips) spoke to me significantly less than when I was doing the body part split training, and It was challenging but FUN!
LOVE this program!! Thank you.“
