Excellent Learning Resource
I’m in the middle of working on a project for StrengthCoach.com where I asked a bunch of different strength coaches and trainers one simple question: What’s one thing you’ve changed your mind about in the past year?
The answers have been really interesting thus far, and they’re still trickling in so I’m exciting to hear all the various responses.
The project got me thinking though. I do a lot of work with StrengthCoach.com but I haven’t really mentioned it in well over a year on my blog, so I thought I’d mention it again since I have a whole lot more readers than I did when I first mentioned it. I do the weekly Good Reads post almost every week to alert you about good fitness info I’ve found, but there’s tons of great stuff on StrengthCoach.com that goes unmentioned because it’s private. And since I’ve made it a point on my blog to share good stuff, I thought I should re-mention it for those of you who don’t know about it already.
It’s a membership site, but in my (admittedly biased) opinion it’s one of the best resources for strength and conditioning information and I’d highly recommend checking out. We typically post 2-3 articles a week and one new video, but to me, the real value of the site is the forum because it allows you to ask any questions you want and get almost immediate answers from some of the top coaches in the field—all for a more than reasonable price. There are strength coaches, personal trainers, physical therapists, chiropractors—you name it. So pretty much anything is fair game.
There’s also a trial period where you can check out the site for just $1, so you’ve really got nothing to lose and a lot of valuable knowledge to gain.
You can check it out here.
Hope everyone is getting the week started off right. I just finished up one of the hardest workouts I’ve done in a long time, so I’m feeling great.
Also don’t forget to check out my Good Reads post from the weekend.
