Taking a Step Back
Last night by friend Scott Hansen wrote a blog post called 20 Effortless Ways to Make Your Life Awesome-er. I thought I’d share it here because I liked a lot of the things he listed and it made me think.
You’ll have to read the list for yourself (don’t worry, it’s very short), but some of them really resonated with me. Some of the things were about training, while some were just about life in general. My favorites were 2, 4, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 17, 19, and 20.
So yea, half the freakin’ list 🙂
Sometimes I think it’s important to take a step back and take a mental inventory and honestly evaluate what you’re doing well and where you’re falling short. The next step of that is obviously to fix the areas where you’re falling short with ACTION.
I’ve been doing some self-reflection the past few days and looking at how and where I can improve myself, so this post was particularly timely for me.
Now the first order of business for me is to call a few of my buddies that I’ve fallen out of touch with (that will make sense once you read Scott’s post).
I haven’t been doing much writing this week because I’ve been catching up on some other stuff, but I’ll be back to it next week.
This weekend I’m going to the Perform Better Summit in Providence, Rhode Island so if you’re planning on going, please let me know and say hello.
Take it easy.
